Superb Selection - Edit
If budget isn’t an option then this is a go to place for vegans. Lots of fresh produce & local options. Friendly,helpful staff. The vegetarian and vegan products dominate the deceptively large store. But the prices certainly reflect the location, and even sale items are pricey. Doesn’t support the idea affordability or mainstream.

Convenient location and good selection - Edit
I travel to Ottawa frequently for work, and this has become my go-to place for healthy yummy vegan food on the road. I always pick up some nondairy milk, breakfast cereal, salads from the deli, artisan cashew cheese, and fruit plus any toiletries or cosmetics I may have forgotten at home.

They have lost my business - Edit
Made a phone call for information on their products and was treated...well...rudely - made to feel like I was wasting their time. I subsequently called the manager and also felt like she was tolerating me. Overall, not impressed at all. I know this city has a lot of options (e.g. Herb and Spice), which will do much better if this is how Market Organics treats their customers.

Lots of high priced items, and some good food choices. This has gone up-scale and hi priced. Good location in Byward Market. Good service. Very "in" decor.

Market Organics recently expanded and it's huge now! They installed a coffee bar now too with the best coffee prices in the area on fair trade coffee, and they have almond milk, soy milk, and Silk creamer (possibly rice as well? and cow's milk). They also have their own little kitchen area and make sandwiches/salads and some dessert options (including vegan puddings that are delicious, I definitely recommend the chocolate one). Get there early if you want a sandwich, they only make them during the week and with all the offices nearby they go pretty fast during lunch.

NFP (this one specifically) consistently has the most competitive prices on health food products, has a fair selection, and the staff are generally very pleasent.
