We stopped here for Sunday brunch while traveling from Georgia to North Carolina. My husband had his weapon on him and asked for outside seating, noting to the hostess that he couldn't go inside because he was carrying and there was a sign on the door. After being seated, the manager came to us, looking very nervous, and, very sweetly, asked my husband to put the weapon off the restaurant property. He was very kind, which I appreciated, and even gave us a bowl of fruit on the house. I just wanted to note that I personally feel safer with my husband carrying than not. Law abiding citizens (and especially ones with extensive weapons training and experience) with weapons are able to defend themselves and others when criminals (who don't follow the rules about weapons) start shooting. It may be a law there because alcohol is served, but criminals don't generally follow the rules about not having weapons.
It was brunch and there were not many vegan options on the menu other than fruit and fries, but the manager arranged for a vegan burger for me. The burger was huge and tasted ok, but not great. The fruit was really good.
Overall, I wouldn't stop there again, but the manager did his best under the circumstances.
