From the menu vegans could have fried potatoes with skin on, briam (Greek ratatouille) with sweet potato, prassorizo-groats (bulgur/rice), rigatoni with rosolata (eggplant, pepper sauce, tomato), fattoush (salad) with oil bun of Lefkas, arugla salad, Greek salads, salad of iceberg lettuce. Be sure to specify no cheese for your salad.

Put this on my list of places to visit because it's on Happy Cow.
Read moreBroken freezer apparently to blame for lack of ice cream/granita, yet fredo coffee was possible.
Expensive compared to other local options - €4 for a 330ml tin of Alfa beer.
Well marked menu offering simple vegan options, but I wouldn't say it was particularly eco-friendly as the coffee was served in a disposable cup with plastic lid and plastic straw in plastic wrapper.
Didn't see any of the menu items in the listing here on the menu.

Based on the other reviews I was quite excited to check out this place - but it seems that they either changed their menu or have a smaller selection for lunch. There were basically two choices for vegan main dishes: a burger and a sandwich, both usually with vegan cheese, but unfortunately they ran out of it, so we ate it without any cheese.
Read moreThe burger was still quite tasty - but nothing super special. The sandwich was only mediocre, not very flavorful.
Service was okay, but the staff wasn't very attentive or friendly.
Overall I would recommend checking out any of the Tavernas along the beach as most of them offer some local vegan dishes which are more flavorful in my opinion!

In the wonderful place like Mikros Gialos the Marilion restaurant is the right place to visit... excellent VEGAN and vegetarian choices from chef, high quality products and well cooked plates. Owners and stuff are more than professionals and ready to serve and satisfy your personal preferences.

Excellent vegan food at a pictoresque bay - Edit
I already have been twice in 1 week over there even though I live 1 hour away from that bay.
Read moreI enjoy all vegan dishes and their coffee is of high quality as well.
I appreciate also a lot the fact that they DON'T put the coffee on plastic or paper cups (people use their sunbeds and order coffee by the beach).
So it's a very vegan and eco friendly business which everyone should visit when visiting Mikros Gyalos!
