wow! this is seriously the best comfort food i’ve had so far! I went there twice and tried the vegan mac n cheese with burger crumble, the loaded fries with Barbecue Ribs and the Parma Chicken one. Each dish was really tasty and flavorful! I can only recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return to try the rest of the menu:))))

We had the rib loaded fries and the pesto burger. The ribs and fries dish was pretty good, there was a cheese sauce underneath that was actually quite delicious. We both really loved the pesto burger, the bun was so soft and the flavours were really fresh. The staff was also very nice.

I had read some mixed reviews about this place so my expectations weren't the highest. The place has a rough and simple interior design. The waiter was very kind. He told me his favorite dish was the loaded fries with chicken so I went for that. It looked ok but was probably the most bland dish I've ever had in Germany, and I've lived here for two years. Very disappointing, I wanted to like this place.

Die Mitarbeitende war sehr symphathisch. Das Essen total in Ordnung, aber nichts überraschendes. Gibt mittlerweile viele Orte mit guten, veganen Burgern. Die Fritten waren auch nicht speziell gut. Es gibt einen Basilikum Spritz, was ich vorher noch nie hatte. Der Preis mit 8-9€ für einen Burger eher hoch. Atmosphäre super.

Really cute place, nice choice of dishes and friendly staff. BUT everything was missing flavour and didn't taste like much. E.g. the loaded fries had some melted cheese that didn't taste like anything...

The different comfort foods sound so good it was hard to choose. I got the loaded Parma fries and they were delicious and filling. I couldn’t eat the whole potion in one sitting, I saved the rest for later.

Absolutely great place, wonderful high quality, creative dishes full of flavour, skilfully cooked to perfection. Stylish and cosy, clean, feel good restaurant with staff that makes you feel at ease. I really loved both food and service. Will return here 100%. Highly recommended.

One of the best vegan places in Berlin! - Edit
We've been to Maria's twice now, once before the official launch and once after. Both times we absolutely loved it! The quality of the food is unmatched in Berlin, the dishes are very creative and unusual and not relying on tofu or seitan is a welcome change for any vegan. Reviews before have criticised that there are not so many vegan options, but the restaurant offers to veganize every dish, so I don't think that's an issue.
Read moreThe atmosphere is comfortable, too, and the service is super friendly. It's more on the pricy side of Berlin food options, but I can definitely recommend checking out Maria for a real treat. As my non-vegan boyfriend suggested coming here in the first place, I'm pretty sure that we will be back!

There are two menus here - lunch (10 or 12 to 16 uhr) and dinner (16 uhr onwards). There were more vegan options on the dinner card but the omelette was amazing still, and the coffee was very good. The girl working there was also super nice and friendly and efficient.
