Sweet & savoury pastry 🥐 in the city center - Edit
Located on a small, side street in the middle of Jordaan area, vegan pastry shop with wide sweet and savoury choice. You can enjoy a good coffee with croissant or grab a sandwich to go. Usually busy, but the line is moving quickly 👌 the place is small, but if you lucky you can still enjoy the coffee inside

Great fluffy pastries - Edit
I missed croissants so much and am absolutely stunned by this small bakery and its goods. The pastries are crispy, light, fluffy, the cake was juicy and the latte macchiato was also great. I had a pain au chocolat, a filled croissant and a carrot cake and I wish I could take kilos of them with me to my hometown.

Must visit - Edit
An amazing place worth visiting! Unfortunately the croissants were sold out. But we tried the orange roll and a sort of cheese stick. Both were absolutely delicious. Also tried the red velvet hot chocolate which was incredible!

Super cute space - Edit
Really lovely staff - loads of options. We got a pistachio and rose danish, a matcha white choc and a pain au chocolate and then two oat milk lattes. All amazing!! The only reason I think maybe 4 not 5 stars is because they were super flakey but almost a bit too much so. Sensory issues make me tear my food apart before I eat it but I couldnt really do that with these (totally a me problem though!!). Theres inside and outside seats but not many so it was a bit tight, as per the photos.

Cute little place - Edit
There aren't many all-vegan bakeries in Amsterdam so it was refreshing to see a place like Margo's.
Read moreI went for the crispy sandwich, which was very filling. They definitely aren't stingy with the toppings!
My sister had one of the toasties which she said was nice. However, she did mention that the cheese had a custard-like texture. Might be good to know if you're not into this type of texture.
To be honest, I was less impressed with the Danish pastry twist. I expected a flaky, airy crust but it was hard and slightly dry. Not really worth the €4 in my opinion. Would definitely recommend the sandwiches though!

A little slice of vegan heaven - Edit
We cycled here and grabbed some pastries and a coffee for breakfast. They all looked so good we had to try a few. The danish apple pastry was the favourite but they were all great!

Trance-inducing croissants - Edit
These are the best vegan croissants I’ve had anywhere in the world. Keep it simple, go for the plain croissant. Eat it fresh - you won’t be disappointed. #Veganuary

Not really impressed sadly - Edit
I was really looking forward to finally trying out the pastries after seeing many good reviews. I'm sad to say to me it was disappointing. The dough of the danishes and croissants was very good, but to me the overal flavours just weren't there. I don't like too sweet pastries but the danishes only tasted like the topping, no cream or sugar in then whatsoever. The ham and cheese croissant tasted really flat, just like a normal croissant but then more expensive. Also found the tahini bun quite dry and not really pleasant to eat. If I was close by and hungry I would maybe try the sandwiches or just get a plain croissant, sadly the other pastries were disappointing to me..
Read morePros: Everything is vegan, Croissant and Danish dough is good

Lovely vegan take-out - Edit
A friend of mine recommended this place, so we came here for our first lunch stop on an Amsterdam trip. It was smaller than I expected, but luckily the weather was nice and we could enjoy the snacks on the bench right outside this lovely vegan take-out bar. We went for the katsu sandwich with crispy tofu & katsu sauce, which was nice, but the real surprise were the sausage roll and the vegan ham & cheese croissant, which I can only describe as 'würzig'. We ate both of them cold and still they were surprisingly good. Their tahini bun was also really nice.
Read moreWe came back two days later for another ham & cheese croissant only to find out that it was already sold out - unfortunately. Must-try!

Pain au chocolat - Edit
Vegan versions of all the classics….no fomo needed! If the rest of the baked goods tasted as good as the pain au chocolat AND the coffee - you’ve discovered heaven for all those who miss the old classics!
