Okay an option

Not a lot of options, but decent for what it is. We got the fajitas - huge pile of fresh vegetables with tortillas. As people mentioned, the beans don't appear to be vegan. Had the Cadillac margarita, was not too strong

Fun place for appetizers

Super fun environment. We were there during a city wide power outage and the servers walked around with flashlights and we used a phone light. When power resumed everyone would cheer. Only thing vegan is the chips and guacamole. They have awesome salsa but be sure to tell them no cheese as they add it. They make both fresh in front of you so easy fix. Awesome margaritas as well

I wouldn’t recommend paying in US Dollars as they charge what appears to be an exchange fee on top of the bill

Always confused

No vegan options. Most the the time they don’t even have beans without lard.

Not for dinner, GREAT for margs and guac

My husband and I visited last night after having already gotten dinner elsewhere for guac and margs. Ambiance was very fun, and the guac was delicious! We both agreed the strawberry basil marg was the best. If you’re vegan, great spot to get margs and guac after. We thought the chips were so so but the guac was awesome

Shouldn’t be on happy cow

Veggies are cooked in butter. Only vegan options are guacamole and French fries. Salsa is made with cheese but can be made without.

It’s touristy and not vegan

I really liked the complimentary table side salsa preparation. But there are no true vegan options on the menu.

Should NOT be on Happy Cow

This one probably should not be on Happy Cow. We enjoyed the margaritas and the table side guacamole, and the servers here definitely are hustling and bustling. But vegetarians and vegans should look elsewhere for dinner. The menu says to ask about veg options, but all the server could offer was a bean and corn burrito. So we ordered that to share, and what we got was a mixed veggie burrito and the veggies were clearly cooked in crustacean flavored butter. No beans or corn on the plate. The server proudly confirmed that everything was cooked in butter, because that was an improvement over lard. I don’t think the servers or the kitchen understood that cooking veggies cooked in shrimp-flavored butter isn’t vegetarian or vegan. We also ordered the tortilla soup, which the server said was not made with chicken stock. But then it came with a chunk of grilled chicken that appeared to have fallen into the soup. Friendly service, but not informed for the easy on the planet clientele.

Very good and accommodating

At the very very bottom of the menu it states that you can ask about vegetarian options, so we did. They have vegetarian burritos, enchiladas, fajitas etc. We had the burrito and asked for no cheese or sour cream. Then a server came to the table and made fresh salsa from roasted tomatoes, onion, cilantro... it was out of this world delicious. The burrito was as delicious but was heavy on the rice and light on the veggies. There was live entertainment that was really good and the server was excellent.

Touristy and ridiculous but actually pretty good

This is the place to go when you are just hungry and cranky and your Spanish sucks and you're sick of looking for someplace you can eat. Sure, it's full of wasted gringos, but honestly you are probably one too, so sometimes we just have to suck it up and take the path of least resistance.

Vegan options are few but we love the veggie fajitas- but don't even ask for beans cause they have pork in them. One order will easily feed two adults if you get guacamole too.

They also make amazing roasted tomato salsa and guacamole fresh at the table, and the margaritas are not bad either.

Pros: Location , Huge portions, Friendly staff

Cons: Absurdly touristy, Wasted gringos singing Jimmy Buffett songs , Few vegan options
