Great falafel, but rude employees

Really tasty falafel with many toppings to choose from. Only downside is the people who work there. They don't really seem to help you and aren't friendly.

Nice

Great for a quick bite. Their falafel pita was absolutely delicious. They give you the pita, add optional hummus, the falafel and then you get to add greens and vegetables yourself. It makes for a bit of an awkward experience, but the end result is amazing.

Pros: Super tasty, Choose your own greens/veggies

Cons: Rude staff, Limited options

Ridiculously small... but RIDICULOUSLY good

Great, affordable choice in a busy district of Amsterdam. You can add a variety of toppings to your food. Should not miss! The only "downside" of this branch is the size. It is so small in there with no toilets. This can be annoying in colder months but that being said, this place is quick, healthy and amazing value.

decent falafel, rude staff

employees and owner/manager just seem eternally pissed at everything. Requires you to wear gloves while using their salad bar and hyper focuses on every action of the customer. Not worth going back to for unpleasant service.

Good, fresh food.

I ordered the falafel salad, which I forgot to take a picture of.

They sell nice and simple vegan food for a good price, which was exactly what I was looking for.
However, the instructions were a bit unclear and the staff wasn't very helpful.

Will definitely buy food here again.

Pros: Affordable , Fresh, Tasty

Cons: Small shop, Could use better instructions

Good falafel, complicated serving system

We tried the falafel wrapped in the whole wheat pita. The food was savoury, but we could not really understand how in times of Coronavirus the clients have to serve themselves and touch what everybody else has already touched (even though gloves were provided), but still, they could adapt their system (at least temporarily) to the current situation.

Pros: Price ok for Amsterdam

Favorite falafel pita

It has no nice atmosphere to sit, but the food is worth it. For a small price you can buy a falafel pita and refill it with the toppings bar. I love that they are all vegan now!

Pros: Great falafel, Cheap

Cons: Not cozy to sit, Can be crowded

Vegan falafel in Amsterdam

This restaurant has a very good location! It's near Central Station (Thalys, Metro, bus...) and many stores (like Primark with its Vegan cosmetic...).
Food is delicious and cheap. There is a large choice of vegetables... Staff is friendly, but the restaurant doesn't have enough seats.

Pros: Vegan and cheap, Good location, Friendly staff

Cons: Small restaurant

Vegan fast food

Pita bread or salad bowl that you can fill with falafel, eggplant or mushroom shoarma and vegetables and sauces of your choice. Or a menu with fries.

Pros: Fast and good

Cons: Only a few places to sit

Simple food

Nothing expectional but good food and good quality overall. I had no problem with the staff and there was a nice atmosphere.

A gem

If you love falafel, you need to come here. Big pita filled to the brim with falafel or mushroom shawarma and then you can add as much as you want from the salad bar which includes cucumber, tomatoes, onion and olives (among other items). Very delicious. Minimal seating unfortunately so most people took theirs to go.

Simple and fresh

I been there almost everyday as this was the most delicious food I could trust, Nice location and easy access. You order your main ingredients then you are free to add salad inside and sauce. Chips are really lovely as well, very crunchy and fresh.

Delicious and filling

You can choose between Pita Bread or a Bowl, I chose Pita bread with falafel (mushrooms, guacamole, aubergine options available), you can ask for them to put hummus for free as well and then it’s a salad self service, they have some mayos included, the garlic one is very tasty! A small pita is 4,95€ and a regular is 5,95€ (regular is fulfilling)

Pros: Lots os vegan options , Tasty, Cheap

Cons: Not many seats on the shop

Good but nothing special

I tried both falafel and mushrooms in pita. They were fine, can't say it was really fulling eventhough you make it a menu. It was considerably cheap.

Pros: Cheap, fast service

Cons: too crowded, not many seats, mediocre food

Best Falafel Ever!

Have been eating at Maoz Falafel for 25 years. Have yet to eat better. The bread is always fresh and there's a choice of white or wholemeal ✅ falafel balls always crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle with perfect spicing. Unlimited salads and sauces, creamy delicious houmous, crispy fried aubergine and chips make this the best value vegan food you can eat. I never tire of it!

Pros: All vegan, unlimited salads & toppings, Superb value for money

Cons: Small inside, Usually busy, Not much room to manoeuvre

A good option with a great central location and simply but tasty and fresh food. You can made your own salad with many ingredients as vegetables, cous cous, quinoa... all vegan. And the fries are delicious! They also have some vegetable drinks and juices which are quite good!
