Warm my heart woodfire kitchen - Edit
Stylish and cozy restaurant. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable on what is and can be made vegan. Though I do wish they would just have it marked in the menu, it was nice to have such a pleasant conversation about which items we could eat. To drink, I had a rhubarb Collins which was refreshing and beautifully tart. The share, we had a plate of baba ganoush with this AMAAAAZING bread. I could've eaten that all night. Then we shared the seasonal vegan pizza, which had potatoes, green olives, spinach, green peppers, asparagus, and some zesty/spicy green sauce. It was delightful. Our waitress informed us we could also have a dessert be made vegan, but we were far too full. Maybe next time, I know I'll be coming back.

Veganlicious - Edit
First visit to Manuka, and what a wondrous find this little gem is... our table of 3 ordered the 'special' tasting menu which only had one meat dish, but recently becoming a vegan I was prepared to have to go with a pizza, usual option at most places, if your lucky. Not so here - They went away to discuss with Chef how they could accommodate my vegan requirements in to the tasting menu and boy did they do themselves proud. It was one of the best meals I've had - period. The star of the show was the baked baby fennel, so tasty I had to pick it up and suck on it like a... dare I say it - 'bone' it was to die for, and I'm not exaggerating. The ambiance was warm and friendly, the vibe was 'happening' but in a comfortable way. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and this made is seem like we were all at a private party. Staff were very informative, taking time to explain each dish. Service was a bit lacklustre, but it was v busy. Can't wait to return.

pizza! - Edit
Great service, a little bit fancy, and I love how accomodating they are!
Read moreVegan pizzas aren't on the menu, but they'll happily whip one up for you!
We once ordered 2, both were different and so yum.
Occasionally they have other really great things on their menu.
Within reason are able to veganize a lot of the menu items.
