Riverside Location - Edit
My friend and I went to the Riverside location of Mantra. Like some others have noted, the buffet didn't have many vegan options. But our server was knowledgeable and the menu had many that were already vegan or could be made vegan. I had the bhindi masala, a samosa, and brought home Palak Paneer made with tofu instead of cheese. Service was prompt and friendly.

Indian food always tasty - Edit
Indian food is always tasty. I ordered from the menu on the phone and I sent someone to pick it up. When I received the food, that at the restaurant is served with rice, it had just the juice part of it. I called and complained that my order was missing the rice, so the lady said that rice is not included, I would have to order separately and no one told me anything. My lunch hour was almost over and I didn’t have anyone to go back there to pick up the rice.

Indian food, some vegan options - Edit
Mantra has a lot of delicious foods, I love that the employees can answer questions about what’s vegan vs. what’s vegetarian. If you want spicy, yummy Indian food in Corona- Mantra is a great place to visit. I especially love their Saag, Chana Masala, chutney, and pickles! They also have great service which is always a big plus.

Great for vegetarian, not so much vegan - Edit
First of all, the waiters here were so incredibly helpful and nice, for this they deserve 5 stars. There is a lunch buffet for only $10, and there are a lot of vegetarian options, but because a lot of authentic south Indian cooking uses ghee, most veg dish automatically becomes not vegan. On the buffet I could eat the daal, basmati rice, and potato fritter. They also had a small salad bar which had veggies and Indian sauces using tamarind and coriander/cilantro. As an Indian person I expected the ghee to be in everything but also get frustrated by this, because many dishes can also easily become vegan😡other than the buffet, there are several vegan options on the menu itself, just ask which ones are ok, there are about 5 dishes. The food is also very good!

Great place to treat yourself once in a while - Edit
I submitted and wrote the description for this place. Here I'll add that the food is rich in flavor and served in filling portions. I recommend the buffet for your first visit; it's economical and there's a fair amount of variety (even for vegans).
