Not a lot of choices

Not a lot of choices, but the 100% vegan veggie pita was very good. It was messy and the flavor was on the bottom in the sauce, but it was good and filling.

No real Vegan Option

The „vegan“ Burger is only vegan without the bun. So u get a Patty with tomato and onions for 16 dollars. Beer is okay.

Got the job done

The only real entree on the menu that’s vegan is a veggie burger that you have to request be prepared vegan. Vegan preparation takes out the bun, so you’re stuck with a bun less veggie patty and fries. It’s decent food and nice when you don’t have a lot of vegan options in Manitou, but I wouldn’t go back unless for a beer and more cajun fries (ask for no cheese). The cajun fries were actually SUPER spicy and very tasty.

Pros: Good cajun fries

Cons: Not enough value to justify price, Not many options

Veggie Tacos

Ordered the veggie tacos w/o cream fraise or shredded cheese. Delicious! Also had a plain pretzels. So good!

Pros: Tasted great, Good beer, Good atmosphere

Cons: Had to make modifications for vegan option, Not much vegan variety

Update; the hummus and tacos are no longer.

All we could get was the veggie burger (no bun) on top of the southwest salad: omit cheese and sauces.

There’s really no options for vegans at all.

Pros: Good beer

Cons: No vegan options

Vegan options a little more limited than other posts suggest

We had a good (if small) hummus plate. And the burgers came out with slices of thick bread instead of buns (which were brioche). Our sauce wasn't vegan so we just had tomato ketchup to add moisture. Our server said the owner was vegan, but I'd hope that they push forward for more menu options soon.

Pros: Very quick and good service.

Cons: Very limited options

Meh, not for vegans

The two options were only okay, the burger was so dry and I had to smear it with ketchup. The tacos were decent but I would only come here for a beer

Cons: Not a lot of veg options

Nah

I wouldn't eat here. The "veggie burger" and the chips and pico were not good. The burger was extremely dry and even had the plain Walmart tortilla chips that were with the watered down Pico to add the dryness.

Pros: The French fries were good

Cons: 99% of the meal was not good.

VEGGIE BURGER ISNT VEGAN! Made with EGG

I was disappointed to learn that the veggie burger was actually not vegan after using the Happy Cow app... we did get guac and chips, fries, and veggie tacos!

Pros: Fries, Veggie taco option

Cons: Egg in the veggie burger

Cool town

The town of Manitou Springs is rich with history and there are plenty of shops and things to do within walking distance. In fact, this building used to be a shop where people rented burros to summit nearby Pikes Peak. In terms of vegan options, the veggie quinoa burger can be made vegan by replacing the brioche bun with a wheat bun and removing the ranch. My server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and was able to help me find something vegan. The burger was okay but I would not come back for the food. This restaurant is a cool stop, though, while exploring Manitou Springs.

Pros: Cool history, Walking distance to shops and things to do, Knowledgeable server

Cons: No fully vegan options on the menu, Food is just okay

Best quinoa burger I’ve had!

burger was an amazing crispy, spicy quinoa patty. The waitress was very accommodating and noticed when I didn’t that the burger came with ranch and asked even though I didn’t say out loud I was vegan. corrected my order. Also try the truffle oil fries without Parmesan!

Pros: One or two solid vegan options , Accommodating , Great atmosphere

Cons: Few options

Love the atmosphere and the beer, even thought the veggie patty is vegan the bread is not....

One of the better local food places in Manitou

I have been here a couple times and have tried both the pita and the tacos. I was so happy when the waitress veganized these options for me. It was so simple and they were on top of it the whole time. Also, both the tacos and the pita were awesome. Pair this with a refreshing and delicious drink and I was set.
