Solid Thai - Edit
The vegan menu helped a lot. The food was good, specially the lemongrass fried rice. The tofu and eggplant was a bit boring.

Ask for the Vegan Menu - Edit
When you come here make sure you specifically ask for the vegan menu! They give you a paper menu that highlights all the vegan dishes/dishes that can be made vegan. We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, crispy tofu and eggplant, and Malaysian curry with vegetables. I wouldn't say this is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to but pretty solid if you're in the mood.

Incredible Thai flavors - Edit
I spent 2 months in Thailand and their Thai curry brought me back!! They have several vegan options and the portions are huge. Highly recommend either the Green or Panang curry. The fried tofu appetizer was really good too! They even have mango sticky rice for dessert.

Only 1 Main Entree that is Vegan - Edit
I went to Mango on the weekend and was very disappointed with the vegan options. Other than an appetizer of Spring Rolls there was only one vegan Main and I really didn't enjoy it. It was Mango Coconut and was incredibly sweet and fried. Definitely not worth the price of the dish. There a bunch of other Kingston restaurants that are vegan friendly that I would highly recommend over this one. -- Like Geneva Crepe Bistro, Harper's Burger Bar...

Great Thai - Edit
As someone who frequents Thai restaurants, I find comfort in ordering at Mango. The staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to accommodating a vegan diet, and have no issue pointing out dishes on the menu which are already vegan. The food has yet to disappoint.

Ask for Vegan Options - Edit
Make sure to ask for vegan instead of vegetarian since they put shrimp sauce in some vegetarian dishes. They have a separate vegan menu if you ask, which dishes can be made vegan. The restaurant is clean, small, sit-down restaurant with artwork on the walls. The food tastes very good, I got the vegan pad Thai and mango tofu. Both were great.

Delicious veg food - Edit
The vegetable tom-yum was fantastic! Lots of flavor without being too sour or too spicy. Pad Thai was ok; the sauce tasted like tomato sauce-based but very filling. Thai basil Fried rice was decent. Overall a good place to eat for vegans and vegetarians. Service was great. I would've rated it 5 star if it wasn't a non-vegetarian restaurant.

satisfying vegan options - Edit
Had the mango tofu, lots of tofu and a decent amount of rice with veg for 10.99. Not bad, would go again if there weren't so many other vegan options out there. Plus Pita Pit is just plain healthier, and cheaper.
Read moreThere's a few different vegan options and options that can easily be made vegan. This would be a place to take other meat eaters and have good options for both of you.
Pros: decent amount of food for the price tag
Cons: not Pita Pit, tons of Asian style restaurants in Kingston. Just

Enough choice for a plant based eater - Edit
I had been thinking for sometime about going to Mango and finally went along. The menu is large but the choice for vegans is limited. However, there was enough choice to keep us happy and the server was very informed about what the eating possibilities were. We shared an appetizer and then shared the mains - a stir fry and a curry. The food was very good with just the right amount of spice. We ate a little early before most people would dine for supper so the place was not crowed and we were able to eat at the window table. We left the restaurant satisfied.
