Fantastic food, fairly priced - Edit
We went to Mandala on a day-trip to Bonn, and it was the perfect choice for us: A great, entirely vegan menu of various vegan tapas and bowls (and sushi, which we didn't try). All of the tapas we tried looked and tasted fantastic, and the food was priced very fairly, especially considering its high quality. The staff made us feel welcome as well and were very helpful whenever we had questions.

Great Asian Fusion Food - Edit
All vegan Viet-Asian-Fusion Restaurant. There are plenty of Tapas (small dishes), but also Sushi and Bowls. Everything is very tasty and this place is a big Plus for Bonn. I will be back!

We are so excited that Mandala is now in Bonn (the big sister “Udum” is in Cologne and we’ve been going there religiously for the last two years)! I am someone who appreciates consistency and Mandala never misses. I have my favourites from the menu that I always go to and they always taste delicious. The gyoza are a must-try if you are there and so is the Vietnamese iced coffee as a treat afterwards!

After successfully opening two vegan restaurants in Cologne, the third location launched in the summer of 2024, conveniently situated behind Bonn Central Station. The restaurant offers incredibly tasty vegan Asian cuisine, served in a pleasant and stylish atmosphere by a very friendly staff. The quality of the food is outstanding, sure to impress even those who aren’t yet vegan. An absolute must-visit! However, please note: Unfortunately, card payments are not accepted at any of the three locations.

Wir kamen nach einer langen Zugreise hungrig beim Mandala an und freuten uns sehr, dass es um 21:40 Uhr noch die Möglichkeit gab, etwas Warmes zu essen :)

Read moreThis time I chose the raspberry dip with crispy tofu and two different kind of sushi. The makis were filled with cucumber, the other one is the spicy tuna.
The crispy tofu and the makis were delicious! The spicy tuna was crunchy but had not a special tuna taste or were spicy at all. Still a delicious one.
The drinks are very juicy and fruity, but you will not find some alcoholic cocktails here.
Atmosphere is excellent, I love the decorations and the look of the restaurant. Staff is friendly and professional.
Payment only with cash.

Wir hatten die Tapas 4, 5, 7, 14, 16, 17, 18, 25. Unschlagbar auf Nummer 1 haben wir Soy on the run (4), raspberry & Tofu (5) und Pink Ladies (16). Perfekt gekocht, gewürzt und kombiniert. Das mochi Eis und der Kokosnachtisch waren zwei Träumchen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall oft wieder. ❤️

The menu contains mostly asian tapas and sushi (between 6-8€). All items are a creative vegan approach that reaches from tofu over buns to drumsticks. They look stunning and are delicious. Most tapas contain 2 items (like drumsticks or pancakes….) can be easily shared.
