Great authentic little cafe

This is a great spot in Manchester, looks like the salmon bagel is on the menu to stay but the rest of the menu seems to change pretty often, there were 3 options when we visited, the Dafina was in fact vegan although labelled as Vegetarian on the menu, the chef advised this was because they used to serve it with honey in, we had the Dafina and the chickpea soup, which came with bread. Both were very hearty warm dishes and very tasty. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The venue is beautiful. Highly recommend a visit. Would have been a 5 star if fully Vegan.

Amazing ‘salmon’ bagel!

Never had vegan salmon before. I don’t actually think I’ve tasted real salmon! This was so delicious.

Great for vegans

Very much enjoyed lunch in the small vegetarian cafe section of the museum. The vegetable & lentil Cholent was delicious & large enough to share. The vegan ‘smoked salmon’ & ‘cream cheese’ bagels were very tasty & enjoyable. Selection of plant based milks for drinks. Staff were helpful. While I personally prefer crispier bagels & these were softer, more like buns, I very much enjoyed the food & highly recommend a visit.

Pros: Mostly vegan menu, Home-made food, Delicious tasting

Cons: Limited menu

Friendly modern cafe

Situated on ground floor of new extension this small cafe is light and bright. There are a few tables in entrance area close up to what was the outside wall of the synagogue.Staff very friendly and helpful.Menu is small but interesting.Recommend the not salmon cream cheese bagel, carrot lox, unusual taste& texture.Visited couple of times and cake selection different each time - this week Hanukkah donuts.

Pros: Friendly staff, Light with views out, Quiet
