A great option when on the go! - Edit
We got a couple of wraps to go and had them a couple of hours later on our trail walk to Shek o Peak (they lasted fine and were still so tasty even though we didn’t eat them immediately). Lots of lovely fillings to choose from!

Small vegan eatery in Hong Kong - Edit
Food was whole food plant-based as advertised, low sodium, and generous portions. Limited seating. We sat at the communal table...it wasn’t cleaned up prior to use

Super quick and tasty - Edit
It’s open from early which is a rarity amongst HK spots. It wasn’t so busy since we were there at 10 and the food came out super quick. Easy if you just want some food to take away without the fuss

Excellent Western vegan food (but loud) - Edit
The food here was excellent, but the Reggae music was loud enough that a group of us had to yell to converse. Very crowded, popular place.

Rustic restaurant with the absolute best vibes. Love the decor, and the food is delicious. Big portions, so be prepared to eat. Delicious flatbreads and great chips (the garlic mayonnaise is fantastic)!

Ok - Edit
I was looking forward to eating here after reading all the good reviews. After I ordered I got a buzzer. It seemed like a really long time until it went off and when I took it up I was told they'd be calling me for quite a while. I told them the buzzer must not have been working, and she just held it up and showed it buzzing as if I was stupid. Obviously it was working now but it had only just gone off.. because of all this my wrap was cold :(

Best burger in town - Edit
I love their babylon burger although the patty is a bit loose and sometimes fall out. Their kale salad is also delicious. The kale is fresh and crispy but not hard to chew. Their flatbread is also tasty. My favorite is Mana! Ste (with tofu and tempeh). I also like their potato fries or sweet potato fries with chipotle dip. The chipotle is soooo good. I always can't get enough of it.

Fast, healthy, fresh food - Edit
We stopped here 3 times during our 4 day stay and sampled their wraps, coffee, juiced & sweet bowls. All excellent, fresh and tasty. A little on the expensive side (cost us the best part of £25 for 2 juices and 2 sweet bowls for breakfast, and slightly more for 2 wraps, 2 juices & a portion of fries) but the food is all fresh, all healthy and nearly everything is vegan. The only place we found in Hong Kong during our stay to offer a milk alternative which wasn’t soy (Oat milk). Eco ethics and a nice place to sit and eat. Bravo

This place is mostly vegan, and the options that are vegetarian are marked. I had a flatbread with 4 toppings and purple yams with garlicnaise on the side, and it was SO good! A little expensive, but worth it. Was also very filling.

We tried their burgers and soup of the day. Everything was delicious, vegan and eco-friendly. Not cheap, but within the standards of Hong Kong Island. By far the best vegan place we found in our 10-day stay in the city.

One of my favs in HK! - Edit
Mana is one of my favourite restaurants in Hong Kong. There are MANY vegan options available. It's not cheap, but the quality is worth it. The large salads are huge; enough for two meals, which justifies the price even more. Love this place!

One of the best cafes in HK - Edit
Love this place and its ethos! They are pretty much the most eco friendly cafe I've come across in HK - they have recycle bins for all the different types of rubbish, use eco friendly cutlery and napkins, and have a zero food waste policy, composting all organic matter. They also have a tap with running water so you can help yourself. I like the music and general atmosphere.
Read moreIt's a casual place, with limited seating, but if by myself, I am usually able to get a seat on the stools or at front. There is also some seating at the back in a larger table and further back outside.
Most important - the food - it's healthy and tastes great. They have flatbreads (wholemeal or gluten free) made with zaatar (a Middle Eastern herb blend including thyme and sesame seeds). There are signature toppings or you can choose your own. I love their grilled tofu, avocado, cripsy tempeh, roasted veggies and hummus. If I am really hungry I get a full one, but the half can also be filling. There are a range of salads - you can choose which you want and a small box is usually enough for me. LOVE the Inca shake and raw vegan chocolate cake when I'm treating myself.
Most things are vegan although they do have eggs and halloumi, so just check if you are unsure. Seems like all desserts, soup, shakes and the flatbread itself are vegan. They have a new vegan burger made with mushrooms and tempeh which looks amazing that I can't wait to try.
Only cons are that it is a little pricy given the tiny space, and it gets really busy at lunchtimes so you can get stuck in a queue. They use buzzers to let you know once your order is ready.
Pros: Ethos - eco friendly, zero food waste, relaxed and positive atmosphere, healthy good food
Cons: bit expensive, busy during peak times, limited seating
