My fav place in Hong Kong

It's so unfortunate that it closed, MANA! was my fav place in Hong Kong, especially the downtown (SoHo) location. Both the wraps and the burger were really good and the food was 90% vegan, I think they only had haloumy and something else as non-vegan options.

They were also very conscious and environmental aware and had a canvas with very nice messages, I actually asked them if they could send it to me in high res, printed it, and have it in my house.

Pros: Best Wraps

Cons: Closed :(

Mana!

Mana! boasts a lovely little restaurant tucked away in Soho. The ambience is perfect, themed with hippie-holiday-tropical decor that coincides with the “healthful” aspect of the restaurant.

The food itself is tasty - not cheap, but wholesome and fairly large portions for lunch. I shared my meal and was still full.

I would not recommend the plain Tahini wrap - it was bland, and the pickled peppers didn’t do it for me. The flatbread of the wrap was nice - other wrap fillings may be better.

However, the Mana salad (listed with green goddess dressing) is soooo good. I’ve come back 3 times for this salad!

Pros: Primarily vegan menu! 🌱🌱❤️, Anything vegetarian (eggs, cheese) is specified, Great ambience & perfect location

Cons: Classic Soho prices, Some items are hit or miss - depends what u like!

Totally reliable, tasty and whole food options

Mana is great - one of my favourites in HK to eat and hang out. The wraps are huge so half is good with a juice. Double thumbs up 😊

Need to improve

When I see menus and photos, it looks good, but I tried some dishes, well it’s quiet boring. Wrap is still good though. Hope to improve food. I love the ambiance and drinks(coffee Combucha etc)

Burgers great!

Babylon burger was great. Chips with Garlicnaise were ever better. Tofu flat was a little bland. The falafel flat was good.

Pros: Staff were friendly and accommodating

Cons: Flats are a bit messy to eat

Best vegan corner in Hong Kong

My favorite spot to grab wraps and salads. Awesome location, wonderful interiors and very cozy. Easy to meet other travelers and expats. Tasty food with a western touch.

Love the choices here

Huge range of fillings to add to your wrap or burger, meaning everyone can be satisfied. Cookies are the bomb, and the cakes are a very generous portion with amazing flavour. Highly recommend.

Underwhelming

I love the idea of the restaurant but I was very underwhelmed by both of the wraps we got, so much so that one of them got thrown in the bin. One of the wraps was close to 50% lettuce and had no other flavours apart from the near whole chilli peppers inside it. We also had an equally underwhelming breakfast at one of the other branches.

Pros: Mostly all vegan menu

Cons: Food very average, Expensive

Unreal in a bad way

Got a wrap containing tofu and tempeh and another containing falafel, all of which were pre fried and left inside the bench with the salads for god knows how long. The wraps were 95 hkd each and not one bit fresh.

Only redeeming part of our order were the chips, however for 50 hkd and sauces 12 hkd each i would call it robbery for lack of a better word.

Ignore the hype if you value fresh food and fair prices there’s so many better veg places to choose from in Hong Kong!

Pros: Chips taste good

Cons: Lack of freshness, Expensive

Love this place

Love the food and the general concept of sustainability! Going back to try the rest of the menu! I think the prices are pretty fair given this is HK!

Planet-friendly Food

Without a doubt, The Vegan Visa’s favorite in Hong Kong – MANA!

Mana! offers delicious, healthy food. Their menu is almost 100% vegan, with a few vegetarian options for those who are transitioning.

Besides their truly terrific food, we have fallen in love with their philosophy of “food that doesn’t cost the Earth”. We were blown away by every single one of their efforts in reducing their footprint: zero-food-waste, free water for all, compostable & biodegradable packaging, organic, wholesome, plant-based food & drinks. Wow!

Pros: All-round eco-friendly restaurant, Tasty & healthy food

Cons: On the pricey side

Had a fab lunch

Loved the flat bread and kombucha. A little pricey but most things are in HK. There’s some cute seating at the back outside that we loved.

Ok food but no where you would want to sit

This wasn't high on my list, but that day other things were closed. The restaurant had a nice wood sort of interior. They are trying to pull off the organic vibe. Sadly all plates and utensils are disposable even for eat in orders.

There were 3 of us. 2 for burgers one got a wrap. The if you do cheese the haloumi was by far the best. But probably not worth the price. The wrap was mostly lettuce. The mushroom bean pattie was ok but it was mushy. Nothing was spicy and the sauce for all three was on the sweet side. A drink and meal will easily put you over 140 hk dollars.

The really unfortunate thing was seating. There really isn't anywhere nice to sit. There is a row of benches inside, near the cooking equipment. It's pretty hot there. There's a second level room with a fan and a single large table. As heat rises, it's pretty much the same as by the kitchen. You can sit out back in the alley, where the exhaust fan blows or you can sit outside the front on a stool with no table. After moving 3 times we just accepted that we were going to be very sweaty by the end of your lunch. Were I to go back, I would get it to go.

Lots of options!

Had a really nice flatbread filled with tofu tempeh roasted cauliflower and tahini. There was lots of other choice of fillings and a burger too. The desserts also looked really good but was WAY too full to have one after.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, raw vegan desserts

Cons: Slightly pricey

need more MANA!s in the world

vegan lifestyle and plant based food. LOVE that they promote consciousness & sustainability by using eco freindly to go boxes, composting food scraps, and even recycled hand soap. more western style food choices but soooo yummy. I tried the falafel flat, yam fries 😍, and raw chocolate cake. i wish there was one in MN.

A real all rounder.

Attitude: This place carries its belief system all the way, from the use of self composting vegware to up-cycling the cooking oil to hand soap.

The food: Fairly priced and fulling. The falafel wrap is a feature in itself as it combines a mix of fresh and fried ingredients. The vegan burger was great but the bun was a bit dry, luckily the serving of yam fries and chilli jam sauce more than solved that small glitch.

Great philosophy, great food, great staff.

Pros: Attitude

Meh

Didn't really rate this place. It needs a good clean. The burger itself was OK, I guess.

It's on trend (plant based, climate leaflets, etc.), but... Meh. Give it a scrub down.

Tasty wraps

We had the ManaSte and Mana Falafel flatbreads with chips. Flavours were great, wraps were stuffed with plenty of filling, chips were chunky. Had a really nice feel - trendy, casual. Everything vegan unless stated (eg halloumi). Not cheap but standard for HK!

Pros: Delicious , Lots of filling in wraps

Cons: Not cheap

Adequate

Got the vegan burger, the falafel flat bread, the nirvana flat bread, and the yam fries. Everything was disappointing. It was ok, but nothing more. Of these, the nirvana flat bread was the best.

Cute place, though. They were very friend, patient, and helpful.
