Heavenly lasagna - Edit
I could not believe I was eating vegan lasagna when I took the first bite. It was so creamy, so umami, and extremely well-seasoned. I ordered in but can only imagine how great it would have been to eat in!

Our favorite pizza spot in The Hague - Edit
Mammamia is our favorite spot for pizza in The Hague. We tried other places, but none of the others are better than Mammamia. The crust is delicious and thin, flavors are great. Our favorites: the parmigiana di melanzane (starter) and the vegan truffle pizza. Their vegan basil pesto is delicious as well. And make sure you try their homemade limoncello!

Ik had de bruschetta, vegan gnocchi en de chocolade mousse en alles was ontzettend lekker! Vooral de chocolade mousse was echt heel goed. Vegan wijn staat ook duidelijk aangegeven op de kaart.

Bij Mammamia heb je meerdere vegan pizza’s en pasta’s waar je uit kan kiezen. Wij kozen beiden voor de veggie pizza waarvan ik de champignons ruilde voor pittige salami. Heerlijk! Op de kaart staat ook aangegeven welke wijnen vegan zijn.

Wat een leuk restaurantje, de staff is heel vriendelijk en er waren best wat vegan opties! Ik had vooraf de bruschetta, daarna de lasagna vegana en als toetje de pannacotta. Het was echt eerlijk, niet te grote porties maar zoo lekker!

Just really good food. The truffel pizza was delicious, and the chocolate mousse with caramel was one of the best mousses I've ever had! The place is cozy, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend this place!

Charming Italian people and great Italian food - Edit
I visited Mammamia with my mom yesterday. We ordered bruchetta as a starter, as a main I tried the Vegan Truffle Pizza and the dessert was a Vegan Nutella Pizza. It was al soooo tasty and amazing. The whole atmosphere was also great. We almost thought we were in Italy for a sec. The staff is so cute and charming, real Italian. If you’re in for some Italy vibes with great food you need to visit this spot.

We had the asparagus risotto with vegan bacon and a vegan veggy pizza with a lot of veggies on it. Both dishes were delicious, though a little pricey (19€ for a main dish). Anyhow, for a special occasion, Mammamia is a great choice!

After being able to indulge in pizza from Gigi’s in Sydney I thought every other vegan pizza would be underwhelming. Mammamia nailed it with their truffle cheese vegan pizza (1 of 4 vegan pizza options)- it was INCREDIBLE! Also had exceptional service. Highly recommend.

This restaurant might be a little bit pricey, but it’s absolutely worth the experience! We had two brilliant vegan pizzas - probably the best ones I’ve had so far! The desserts (vegan mousse au chocolat and lemon sorbet) were also very delicious!

Italian restaurant with lots of vegan options. Not just one or two things, but every part of their menu (there are 5) has at least one vegan option. Also the wine list clearly indicates which wines are vegan.

This is not just a random restaurant with a few vegan options, but they have the full experience. Great staff too. I liked to order pizze here online, but the best experience is to go to their restaurant. It’s lovely.

Lovely place, very friendly staff and they have loads of vegan options. I had the vegan pizza with pumpkin and artichokes, really enjoyed it. Made sure to save room for one of the desserts. 😉

My vegan friend and I ordered this pizza on a lazy thursday, but we were completely amazed by the taste of the vegan pizzas of MammaMia (vegan salame & vegan veggy). The cheese, pesto, thin crust, and veggies were just great. I would have given 5 starts for the taste! Yes, it is an expensive pizza, but if you ask us it's more than worth it.

Nice vegan pizza. I had the veggy vegan. It had a lot of mushrooms (like 80%). They charged too much for a normal hot tea (3,50!!). That kinda sucks. And they charged too much for my friends pizza without tomato sauce without saying anything. So that sucks too. Not going back there.

Downside is that it’s really expensive (€18 for a vegan pizza?), whereas the non-vegan options are more regular priced.

The lasagna wasn’t very good, quite bland, so I wouldn’t recommend ordening that one.

Amazing vegan options, though quite expensive - Edit
Had an amazing vegan pizza with a traditional Italian crust here! Probably the best I've ever had, and there were three more to choose from. The vegan coconut pannacotta with passion fruit I had for dessert was also really good. Moreover, staff was lovely; very attentive and we even got a free chef's amuse and limoncello after. The only downside is the price, particularly the vegan options in comparison to the 'regular' menu. I find 18€ for a pizza, 6€ for a glass of house wine and €4.50 for an oat milk cappuccino unnecessarily expensive, even when you have a Denneweg location.

Good variety of options for vegan and glutenfree - Edit
As I try to avoid both animal as wheat/gluten products, it is often a challenge to find a restaurant with multiple options. MammaMia's menu was a nice surprise, offering multiple vegan pizza's which could be made gluten free. The pizza was nice, the vegan salami could have been a bit spicier to my taste. Also for the desserts there were multiple options, I took the vegan panna cotta.

We wanted to sit outside but the blazing sun made us move inside. It might be a nice improvement to install some umbrellas or other protection.
Pros: Full vegan pizzas, pastas and desserts, Italian, friendly, helpful staff, Special beers from an Italian micro brewery
Cons: There are organic pizzas, but these are not vegan, Terrace outside has no umbrella to block the sun
