Fantastic - Edit
I just had take out from here and it was amazing. I had the Spicy Coconut Soup and Fresh Veggie Rolls. I"ve been spoiled by Pho Lantern in Buffalo and tried many places here in Rochester and this is my new favorite place. I live in Webster so it's a bit of a drive but the soup was just the right temp when i got home! You will not be sorry if you eat at Mamasans. Absolute best i've had here!

An array of fresh vegan options - Edit
NOTE: the staff let us know that the restaurant will relocate around August 2019 from its Monroe Avenue location to the Mt. Hope neighborhood.
Read moreWe enjoyed the noodle and the rice entries with added tofu. All had a wonderful mixture of fresh vegetables and a light sauce. Vietnamese food can be bland; Mamasans’ fare was not bland, but we liked having it spiced hotter, which was accommodated to good effect. Yam soup and the vegetable crepe were delicious appetizers. The food is light but filling, and not greasy or salty; flavorful broths.
Pros: Delicious , Fresh, Excellent service

Delicious - Edit
This place has been around since forever! They have been serving Vietnamese and Thai food at their previous location on University Ave and moved about twenty years ago to their current location on Monroe Avenue.
Read moreThe food here is always good and they have clearly marked their menu with vegan options. If you are unsure or want any adjustments, just ask the server.
I haven’t gone here for dinner, but have had some great lunches here. Perfect place to meet friends or business associates. Big dining room so there is rarely a wait, but it is divided so you don’t feel that you are in a huge place.
Lunches are a little expensive, but hey, you won’t be eating much for dinner after being here.
Pros: Delicious, Friendly, Vietnamese and Thai food
Cons: A little expensive

Very good food - Edit
I loved this place before becoming vegan, but was hesitant to go after as I wasn't sure if they would be able to accomodate. To my very pleasant surprise, they were able to provide me with a separate vegan menu! The food was delicious and the server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially since it was a very busy saturday evening.
