Cheap Indian Restaurant - Edit
Not much to complain. The Dal was little thin (like the Lassi), but for the low price it was quite alright. I paid less then 10 Euros for a meal with an appetizer, meal and a Drink.

Not bad but no understanding of veganism😐 - Edit
Although vegan items are labeled on the menu talking to the staff I felt they didn’t really have an understanding of veganism so I was unsure if there’s really no animal ingredient in the food.
Read moreI feel lots of Indian places see vegan and vegetarian as the same thing.
Also everything was too spicy for me. (I’m weak😅)

Decent, but not the best - Edit
Appetisers are labelled if they’re vegan in the menu, which is great. We tried the samosas, pani puri (not as good as I’ve had elsewhere), aloo jerra, and momos. Also got a set plate with dal and swapped chicken curry for vegan. Staff know some English. The service could be better - for instance we both ordered cokes but only got one. Food was decent, filling, set plate was nice, but appetisers not as good as I’ve had elsewhere. Still worth a stop if you’re staying in this town as there’s not a lot. #Veganuary

Delicious, friendly, and convenient - Edit
Was looking for a place to eat a late lunch after getting off the Shinkansen. This was just a few minutes walk from the station. The two Nepali gentlemen working were extremely friendly and understood “vegetarian” even though their English was limited — on the Indian menu, they confirmed that the daal curry and saag paneer curry were vegetarian. They made the naan before our eyes and both I and my omnivore husband were extremely happy: my daal curry/mango lassi and his chicken curry were delicious, the portions were enormous, and the price was excellent (¥885 for a bowl of daal curry, a small salad, and an enormous just-made naan).

Not worth a visit - Edit
I hate giving bad reviews of any place that can accommodate vegan requests but this food was just not good. The veggies were rubbery and the curries were either too salty or lacking flavor. I hardly ever leave an Indian restaurant hungry but this was the exception. At least the naan was good.

Worth a visit! - Edit
Being the first ones to review this place, we didn't know how many vegan options they would have and if the food would be good.
Read moreBut we were positively surprised, the food was really delicious! They had a chicken curry thali plate which they prepared as a vegan version for us (with vegetable and lentil curry instead of chicken), plus a couple of vegan sides like samosas, fried potatoes and dumplings.
Everything was really tasty and also very affordable (under 3000 for the thali, 3 sides and two drinks). It's just a short walk from Odawara Station, so if you are in the area it's definitely worth visiting!
Pros: Vegan options , Delicious food!, Very inexpensive
Cons: Wrong adress is listed
