This would probably be my #1 suggestion in Truckee for a nice veggie dinner. Formerly Java Sushi, much of the menu carried over to this new establishment with improved decor and service. In an unexpected location between New Moon Natural Foods and the DMV.
Read moreLong before the bay area had Shizen, this small joint was making interesting and inventive veggie maki. Some of my favorites are the veggie spicy ben, the green machine, and of course, the Ivan roll. :)
Pros: Delicious and interesting rolls, Great service, They named a roll after me :)
Cons: Often a wait, especially weekends in season, Pricey, but what you would expect for sushi, tahoe
