Great vegan ramen - Edit
The Hell Ramen was a lovely spice level and the addition of vegan bacon in place of pork was really nice! I’d have loved some more veggies in with the ramen but that’s just preference. I’d love to come back and try more!

Rah rah ramen. - Edit
Pretty good ramen. Staff was friendly and food was brought out quickly. Ordered the vegan Hell Ramen with an extra side of hell sauce and vegan Black Garlic Tonkotsu with a side of vegan kimchi. We wanted to get some gyozas but were told that they were not vegan, only vegetarian. Instead we ordered edamame.
Read moreAll the food was delicious. The hell sauce was not too spicy but it was very flavorsome.
All in all, a very delicious meal and would be happy to visit again.

Tasty! - Edit
Really good veggie and vegan options here!! I went with meat eater friends and didn’t feel left out at all 🌱. I went for the black garlic tonkatsu (vegan), but added an egg and replaced the vegan bacon with tofu. It was really nice with lots of flavour, but the egg and the tofu were cold which felt quite odd in the hot broth, nonetheless, still tasted amazing! A good recommendation for veggie/vegan friends! The waiter was also really helpful with making veggie changes to dishes!

Cons: The egg and tofu could have been hotter

Slurplicious - Edit
I’m not one to forego a good noodle place, so when I was looking for an eatery whilst in Glasgow this place came up in my search. I simply had to book!
Read moreDefinitely not disappointed. We went to the original restaurant that was further along from their bigger restaurant in Bath street.
On entering, the decor was colourful and the staff were friendly.
Lots of vegan options including the specials. We had the black garlic miso, the hell ramen, kimchi, gyozas and sushi from the specials.
The noodles were lovely and chewy and the tofu was just right. Happy to say the soup base wasn’t soy sauce like and proper broth. Although when served it was warm and needed to be piping hot for our liking. The kimchi was good but I suspect it wasn’t fermented as it was quite sweet but still good. The sushi had vegan chicken and cucumber and avocado. This was really good and the rice was fresh as it was still warm when served which is how it should be.
Overall we really enjoyed this place and will be back!
Pros: Good vegan options, Very tasty
Cons: Broth not hot enough

Fantastic vegan ramen - Edit
Lots of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu. Lots of variety, ramen, sushi, noodles, and sides, and with tofu or faux-meat options. After a long day a bowl of ramen and some pumpkin bao was exactly what I needed.

Delicious Vegan Options - Edit
We could not get into the Maki & Ramen at 21 Bath Street so the hostess recommended we walk to the corner of the block for Maki & Ramen's newest location at 90 Renfield St., Glasgow.
Read moreIt was a lovely, spacious restaurant with a fun vibe. Best to have a reservation. We ate here the first week they were open (late April) and they did not have a liquor license yet. Hopefully by now, that has been sorted out. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. Husband had Hell Ramen Soup which was quite spicy and I had Soba Noodles with veggies. Loved it. Good quality.
Pros: Delicious food, Vegan items clearly marked.
Cons: Serves meat., Restroom needed cleaning.

The food was excellent! We had the black garlic ramen, the miso ramen and a side of kimchi and a seaweed salad. There was a vegan section of the menu to choose from and other dishes on the menu were marked vegan too. The staff were super friendly and gave really good service. Would thoroughly recommend!

Vegan Ramen and Yasai Roll - Edit
🌱 V Miso

💭: one of the best vegan ramen out there, big portion sizes, reasonable priced and plenty of options. We had the vegan meso ramen, the broath noodles and tofu were sublime. Pak choi was delicious but just wasn’t a fan of the seaweed, but my partner loved every bit of it
🤷🏽♀️: Order again? Yes
🌱 Vegan Yasai Rolls

💭: this came on a large tray. it was to contain avocado, cucumber and inari tofu. however, i felt like the tofu looked and tasted like vegan bacon

Vegan Tantan is a FAVOURITE - Edit
Writing this review on behalf of the staff at Maki and Ramen to guide you on our faveeee vegan options.
Read moreThe vegan tantan and hell ramen are our favourite vegan ramens. If you love sesame, be sure to try the tantan. Don’t forget to ask for tofu if you love tofu as the vegan ramen on the menu is just with veggies.
On our specials board at the moment we have vegan pumpkin avocado rolls. These are to DIE for. Have this for my dinner almost every day, LOVE.
Also our vegetarian sushi roll is vegan! If you’d like to try the vegetarian set, we can substitute the tamago for Inari😄also we make our tamago on site for our fellow veggies.
Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Features specials board on Glasgow site, Menu has vegan and vegetarian keys
Cons: Ramen portions are HUUUUUUUGE
