Great vegan ramen! - Edit
Proper delicious ramen. Definitely the best vegan ramen I’ve had in the UK. A full page of different vegan ramen and a few other vegan options on the menu. They have their own locally brewed beer also!! Top marks, would recommend 👍👍👍

Yum! - Edit
I really loved the vegan spicy ramen, the fake meat was a little weird but otherwise the noodles & broth were delicious. They have pages dedicated to vegan options from rolls, to ramen and desserts.

Gong with the Wind - Edit
The search for the perfect Ramen continues in Leeds although this fancy new branch of Maki & Ramen came reasonably close. The chilli infused broth in my Hell Ramen was super spicy hot, just the way I like it but apart from a couple of large bits of pak-choi and 3 rashers of the rather overpowering ‘This isn’t Bacon’ which I don’t think works too well in a Japanese dish it lacked anything else of note. I’ve had my eyes on the Hell Ramen for a while and am pleased to have tried it. They do have at least 2 or 3 more rather intriguing vegan Ramens. I may get to try them one day but maybe at one of their other UK branches. We also ordered the vegan chicken Katsu which was excellent. Plenty of rich spicy sweet curry sauce and loads of rice as well as a generous amount of chicken. The miso broth it came with was really good. Washed down with a couple of their own house brand vegan lager it was on to the North Brew taproom before heading home. Including the mandatory? / discretionary? service charge which is now becoming a pandemic in the UK we were looking at £46. Oh I forgot to mention you get gonged when entering the premises as a new diner. A nice touch which I am sure all the staff really like to embrace every day multiple times.

Bad Yakisoba - Edit
My son picked this place to try so I was happy to oblige. It’s a chain restaurant so totally lacks the character of some of the independent Japanese places in Leeds but the vibe was fine. There is a vegan section on the menu with a few ramens, I think maybe I made a bad choice with the yakisoba, noodles were barely cooked, sauce was gross, all sugary and no flavour and only a couple of bits of veg. I won’t return because there are much better options in town.

M & R started in Edinburgh and was pretty good, I’ve seen so many places expand too quickly and it’s hard to keep the quality as good. Shame.

Disappointing. The menu looks great. I’m still searching for the ultimate. U.K. ramen spot. Vegan Ramen Shop in Warsaw best I’ve ever had

Craig - the soba noodles were awful. I left in disbelief that I’d actually consumed them all but I was starving.
