Expensive and rigid staff

Paid 435 baht for a smoothie bowl - it was good, but that price hurts in Thailand! They claim to take cards, but the staff didn’t even know how to use the card machine, and they refused to allow substitutions to listed ingredients. Not very impressed.

Hello Daniel. Thank you for dropping by and sharing your experience. So sorry about what happened. We have a "build your own bowl option" if you wish to try something thats is not on the signature bowls menu.

Sorry about the card payment, we re-trained the staff. Appreciate the feedback :)

Iced cafe

everything is fine in the photo, but it’s impossible and not useful. It’s all ice, sorry. this is not a smoothie ball - this is ice. ice bowl.

Delicious smoothies!

In the midst of Bangkok where most of the smoothies are loaded with sugar and served with plastic cup, plastic straw, and a plastic bag, it was so nice to enjoy a nutritious smoothie with reusable bamboo cup and straw!

Really good!

Their acai bowls are delicious. It's very expensive and portions are tiny.

Best Acai Bowl in BKK. All items on menu on veggie-friendly. A few items like honey, bee pollen, and Nutella are not vegan friendly, but staff are very knowledgable about restrictions and alternative toppings :-)

Best smoothie bowls in Bangkok

MAKAI Açaí bowls 😋 they use organic açaí purée, smooth thick texture. Beautiful presentation in coconut shell bowls. Very refreshing , NO added sugar and NO syrup! You can either choose standard toppings as suggested on the menu or customize your own bowl. They make granola in house. I recommend their peanut butter for toppings. Instant refreshment and energy boost :)

there are more MAKAI bars around Bangkok, I ll add them ( they have locations on their FB page ). There is one right opposite of MahaNakhon skyscraper in Silom, one is in Ari soi 4, and the newest is on the ground floor of Siam Paragon. They are also on all food delivery apps. Go try!

Pros: You can customize the toppings ( huge variety ), Organic açaí purée ( they don't use the powder), Amazing smooth thick texture, best in town

Best Acai bowl in Thailand!!!

The texture of the smoothies is very nice. You can manage your own topping however you like. A bit pricey but it's worth!

Pros: super delicious and healthy!!!

Cons: Pricey and a bit hidden gem.

great açai and smoothie bar

Makai Açai and Superfood Bar can be hard to find but it’s well worth the effort ... Makai is at 64 De Colony, Soi Prasarnmit, Soi 23, Sukhumvit, Klang Tory ... there are great vegan options so everyone will be able to enjoy the delicious açai and smoothies ... I had the Rio Bowl (minus the honey) ฿330 ... super friendly staff and the owner speakers English ... nice cool air con and super fast wifi

Pros: lots of great vegan options
