Good location, mid food - Edit
I ordered a falafel bowl and a cookie to go. The location is convenient and I was happy to find the café as I was passing by. However, I found the food overpriced and very dry, especially the falafel and cookie.
Read moreThe bowl had 3 falafels, lots of rice and only a few vegetables.
Unless I'm in the area again with no other options, I probably wouldn't go back.
Pros: Location
Cons: Dry food, Overpriced

Okay for lunch break - Edit
Had a daily couscous dish. Portion size is okay for small lunch. Curry lagged flavour. Tasted like it never came in contact with spruces of any kind.

So happy I found this gem literally right next door to my hotel. I was craving clean eating after a long flight. Also, the place was quite busy with locals, so you know it’s good.

Perfect vegan lunch near Louvre - Edit
Fabulous little café! We had what was could be described as Lentil Shepherd’s Pie, which came with a small meslun salad, lightly dressed with seeds. The lettuce was impressively fresh, and the whole dish was delicious comfort food. Two of us also split a piece of spinach tart (just because it looked too delicious to pass up), which was our favorite part of the meal. I had a chilled Ginger Boost from the cooler and my companion had a pot of hot Earl Gray. Both were excellent, as was the entire meal.
Read morePros: Extremely fresh lettuce, Everything was delicious!, Friendly service
Cons: Dining area is a little cramped (but worth it)

The Maisie Café is a very welcoming place, where you would love to try out all the food available✨️
Read moreIt is a bit pricy, and I don't why the main dish was not served in regular plates instead of the take away bowl.
But overall it was a really nice experience, and I would like to try other thing I couldn't last time ~
Pros: Menu is appetizing !, Place is nice
Cons: Main dish served in take away bowl

Wait, and it's gluten-free?😮 - Edit
This place is awesome! We had a spinach and mushroom tart, their pressed "clear" juice which was so nice with fennel, ginger and aloe, a mini pizza, and a focaccia bun with freshly tossed salad on the side. Everything was delectable, fresh, very well flavoured and felt like a mostly healthy meal that'll hit the spot
Read moreThe most important/impressive part though was the bread and tart crust which were delicious to the point that my partner said, "I feel like this is the first actual good bread I've had in Paris." After looking at happy cow and their website again, we were shook to learn this place is gluten free, which is amazing! Kudos on this delectable gluten free bread and dough, that fooled us gluten-loving vegans 😮❤️

We went there as we were hungry outside of french restaurant opening hours (between 2pm and 7pm). The daily dish (parmigiana) was really good and also the tomato tart.
Read moreThe ayurvedic infusión was a bit tasteless. All in all very nice cafe, a little bit pricey.

Disapointing - Edit
First impressions were tarnished by the lack of a greeting from the staff, and her inability to understand French, which is a bit odd for a place in France. It's ok, we can speak English, so we switch to English.
Read moreWe wanted the pita sandwiches, but Madame couldn't get one because both spreads offered were humous and she can't eat chickpeas (health issues). The mini pizza, though apetizing, scared us with it's price of 6.5€. She ended up ordering the tapioca desert.
The pita was alright, though too salty. The tapioca desert and the two lattes were very disapointing, so much so, we had to leave some. The chai latte wasn't rich enough to be called chai, and the matcha one was borderline undrinkable.
To top it off, the place was full of boxes and other storage units. There were a few stacks of books, but you couldn't read them as they served as props for vases. Speaking of the vases, they were full of dying flowers and greenish water.
Cons: Staff didn't understand French, Is expensive, Too salty

Succulent home made menu - Edit

Decent lunch - Edit
Had the plat du jour with a few extras here for lunch. Spent the best part of €50 here for two of us for a light lunch so was definitely more than I would normally expect to pay, so probably won’t be rushing back, but it was tasty food and the staff were very friendly.

Abbiamo preso due piatti del giorno: riso rosso con falafel e insalata mista. Buono, i falafel poco speziati e ci sono piaciuti moltissimo. Posto carino ma piccolissimo e personale non molto gentile

Happy cow didn't let me rate this place with one star since it's 100% vegan - Edit
It eas at the beginning of our visit to Paris, we ate only in fully vegan places, and this one was they only one which didappointed us.
Read moreThey prepare only a single main dish, which changes every day. We managed to understand that it was spicy, which wasn't not for us. There was supposed to be soup too, but they said that none has been left.
We have made the mistake of buying two packed "tofu salads" and two "foccasias". The salad had very little tofu and a few wallnuts. The rest was tasteless and didn't satisfy our hunger. The "focassias" did not resemble focassias even a bit and felt very far from fresh.
