OK if you work in DT DSM

This restaurant is OK. If you work in Downtown Des Moines, particularly in the skywalk, they can be relied upon for a vegan wrap, salad, and a decent soup. Most of the salads will have to be customized (i.e., "no-cheese" requested) in order to be vegan. I appreciate that they have provided a few vegan options, but it is disappointing that none of their cookies or other treats are vegan and that they don't serve up a tofu scramble in the morning. Avoid the wheat baguette like the plague. It tastes nothing like a baguette, but like a sad, soft chunk of grocery store bread.

Pros: always at least a couple vegan options, friendly staff, quick for a workday lunch

Cons: no vegan treats, no vegan scramble, they need to work on their bread game
