Delicious curries

What a gem ! Found this by luck and after checking reviews we thought we would give it a try . I tried a jackfruit curry which I haven’t had before which was delicious . The food is cooked fresh and my husband asked for extra hot which it was ! The garlic naan is highly recommended as they didn’t scrimp on the garlic !

Pros: All dishes were extremely tasty, Cooked fresh, Great place for groups (non vegan and vegan)

Cons: Slightly slow service but worth the wait

Great vegan options, the best indian food!

We found this place a few years back because it was close to our appartment. We asked wether they had vegan options, and they had! They understand what vegan means and they can make the whole veggie section of the menu vegan. We also had amazing vegan mango lassi and vegan garlic naan. We reserved this year and told them we were vegan beforehand, and asked about mango lassi. They made an amaaazing vegan version especially for us! Also the garlic naan that is vegan by default is THE BEST EVER. The ambiance, like being in a cave with colourful indian decorations, is super nice too. Love this restaurant!

They even made kofta for me based on my memory from years ago: "there were two little towers in the bowl sticking out of the curry" amazing people amazing food

Amazing Indian Food

My partner and I found MahaRaha on our first night in Budapest. It happened to be Christmas Eve and most restaurants and grocery stores are closed. After being seated, the server was very helpful and accommodating when I told her that I am vegan. She pointed out the vegetarian/vegan options they had on the menu and offered to alter other dishes if I preferred something else. The food was amazing. They can also make one of the desserts vegan too!
