Very vegan-friendly! - Edit
Nice sit-down place In convenient shopping center location. All the vegan menu items are clearly marked on the menu & the entrees are stated to all be gluten free. The food is very good & the portions are generous.

I was in town for a event , we were looking for somewhere close to where we were, found that Maharaja was close by, with something for everyone. They have a Saturday buffet for lunch. And there were at lest 6 vegan dishes to choose from, the most I have seen at any India Buffet. They were clearly maked and if you had questions the staff helped you. You have to pay extra for Roti which I did not mind. The food was good and the service was welcoming.

Great vegan food on buffet - Edit
I have been here several times and was surprised that I hadn’t reviewed it already. So these comments are from several visits over the past year. For dinner, I found the staff very knowledgeable, offering vegan bread and pointers on entree selection. The portions were hearty and filling. For the lunch buffet, there were more than 5 vegan dishes on the buffet, much more than any Indian buffet I have ever been to before. These selections are clearly labeled vegan with stand up signs next to each dish, also rare at other buffets I have been too. In short, I think this is the best vegan Indian choice in Charlottesville.
