Fast food with no flavours - Edit
Boring food. Same menu all the time! No flavours... fast food with no taste.... sorry but not worth it... they have to do better with the efforts of the taste and the food of choice.

Delicious food and fika - Edit
Mahalo has several options for both lunch and "fika". Although it's a bit pricey (especially the raw food cakes), they almost never fail to impress. However, it's quite clear that they are understaffed. Quite often, there are dishes on the tables, they're out of utensils or soap in the bathroom.

I ordered a sandwich that was incredibly dry and didn’t seem fresh. I also got a smoothie which was really good though.

Happy-making Food - Edit
We were very happy with all the great food (we became big fans of smoothie bowls there). The staff was friendly and explained all the foreign ingredients to us patiently. There is a nice, quiet backyard to sit outside.

No! - Edit
I ate at this place a few times back in the day, when it was called Hälsocafet and was a vegetarian establishment. I found the food to be just all right, a little too obvious that they are all about following the latest trends. Then all of a sudden they went fully and openly vegan, and hey, I can't complain about that. Sadly they also took away the possibility of paying cash, which doesn't feel like a sign of appreciation towards their old customers. Furthermore, their website claims that "all of our food is made with plenty of love for the environment, the animals..". As they had previously were vegetarian, that sounds like revisionism to me!
Read moreAll in all, Mahalo doesn't do the trick for me, and I prefer to support other places that are not capitalising on veganism being somewhat trendy.

Good food- but understaffed. - Edit
We were told the kitchen was closed as they were understaffed- but we could still order a smoothie/smoothie bowl. It took quite a while to arrive, but when it did it was tasty. We got the blue spirulina base and loco toppings. Would recommend. The patio was nice but was cluttered with people’s dishes that hadn’t been cleared yet. Overall I would give it a second chance because the food was good- but it didn’t impress.

Nice food - Edit
We had a nice lunch here, the inside was empty so there was no atmosphere and we were told we couldn’t sit outside cause they were closing it, even though there was people still being served meals out there. The food was nice and healthy.

Nice for early meals - Edit
I went there today and had the "loaded fries before guys". Nothing wrong with the meal and it was nice and quiet to sit outside in the garden. The menu is somewhat limited in choices for food if one does not want smoothie bowls and more of the typical vegan meals such as burger. Really nice and friendly staff. Would go again.

Busy, confusing - Edit
No english menu, dont take cash. Have to try to squeeze in to a table or wait at the door. All of this would have been fine but i had a negative experience with another customer too which just kinda ruined my experience. The food was good though, love picked onion.

Fantastic coffee! Unfortunately don't serve food till 12 pm on Sunday and I didn't fancy a smoothie bowl. Thankfully there was a sandwich I could grab but just be aware if you were going for brunch! Lovely staff and atmosphere too.

moved to this city and was looking on net and
Read morei was taking the subway to this place just to be disappointed.
they dont take any cash.
so i had to go out not getting anything.
the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard off a food place that does not want all customers.
never going back to this place.
Thankfully i found another organic veggie place by googling very near to walk that did not throw me out but welcomed me with happiness and were i could pay with swedish cash.

Great space, nice food - Edit
I stopped in for a quick breakfast, they open earlier than a lot of the other spots in town and have ample seating. The pre-made sandwich was good, the smoothie wasn't the best I've ever had, but decent. I'll have to come back to try the desserts, they looked really nice.

Definitely dont miss this! - Edit
My friend and I knew mahalo was gonna be awesome from the moment we saw people queuing outside at 9.30 on Saturday morning.
Read moreWe entered and admired the green plants filling the room and smell of fruits and coffee.
We chose the smoothie bowl and settled on the tiki with loco topping. It was basically chocolate madness. I also got a blueberry mint kombucha which was probably the best one I've ever had. I also liked that the kombucha was made in Sweden too.
The bowls arrived and they were SO delicious. I normally get put off raw vegan food because of the unnecessary overuse of dates in everything but I cannot believe it, not a date in sight haha.
We couldn't finish the bowl it was so filling but it was AMAZING.
We also went back a couple days later and had overnight oats, filter coffee with Oatly barista, an avocado roll with cashew cream cheese, rocket. Everything was absolutely spot on!!! I'm still thinking about mahalo days later. You NEED to go. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It's also dog friendly 🐕

The place to have bowls or coffee - Edit
A great place with great vegan food and a pleasant ambience.
Read moreThe buddha bowl comes in a great composition, though I missed warm items on the plate. Friendly staff and fast service, ask for an English menu if you don't speak Swedish.
They also have a variety of desserts, raw cakes, overnight oats, chia puddings, good coffee and different plant milks to choose from. I found the price for a small cake or a small milk shake for around 6 euro a bit expensive though compared to the main dishes.
Pros: Enjoyable ambience, Great variety of desserts
