I really do not recommend Krooked Maggie’s. This tops the list of one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. . They mixed eggs with my tofu scramble., . . at Maggie's Krooked Cafe in Tannersville

Serves meat, vegan options available. Has veggie burgers, tofu scramble, salads, veg sides, plus vegan pancakes and cakes, soy milk and almond milk for coffee. Specify vegan to be sure (ie no mayo, cheese, etc). Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-4:00pm.

Unique but no

Went there once when I first moved to Tannersville, the pricing wasn’t clear and the food was random but okay. Debated going back as there’s not many vegan options here.

Then I met my friend who used to live above/work at the restaurant. Given their stories regarding the state of the kitchen, all I can say is going to hard pass on that….

2 stars only cause Maggie is a truly kind soul but girl needs to clean.

Not vegan

Waited 45 minutes for food on a busy Sunday. Got the tofu scramble and veggie burger which both had eggs even after explicitly asking if they were vegan. Also kinda pricey

Disappointing

I came here with my boyfriend after ziplining down the road at Hunter Mountain and this place was a disgrace! The dishes consist of a bunch of veggies smashed together and nothing to it.. the “veggie burger” was not a burger at all but rather a bunch of veggies bound together with what looked like egg, and smushed onto two pieces of TOAST... not a roll like it claims. And the fries are just roasted potatoes CUBED.... I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business, very terrible management. Will not be returning.

Cons: Expensive as heck

Poor Service and Insane Prices

There is no way they should charge anywhere near their prices. Touristy town, but a complete ripoff. I live in New York City and have never paid anywhere close to $15.50 for a sub par tofu scramble and will never again. Really inattentive staff that makes a lot of mistakes. My advice avoid this place and if you really want it, look at the menu and check prices before you go.

Pros: Cute art and space

Cons: Past the over-priced point to be a full rip-off, Be assured someones order will be wrong, Napkins and utensils, just ask 12 times.

So. Many. Veggies.

I was worried I wouldn’t be able to eat anything while in the Catskills but then we found this place. Lots of veggie and vegan options available. I got the veggie melt which was open face and there were so many veggies on top that I could barely find my sandwich. So. Good. They also have great fresh juices. It was a little cold for that but I had one anyway. It did not disappoint.
