Lunch Buffet

My husband stopped in on our way through town. We were surprised they no longer use the menu but at 100% buffet. That being said, it was a happy surprise and everything was delicious! Another plus of being a buffet there was no wait for the food to be cooked, so we were back on the road quickly. Apparently all the vegan options.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked, Delicious , Quick if in a hurry

Cons: Staff are hands off, Hard to find the restrooms

Solid Indian Food

The food here was just as good as the Madras Mantra in Marietta but I enjoyed this one more because of the layout inside is better. Is that weird? #Veganuary

Pros: Friendly staff, very chill. Almost too chill...

Cons: Even if you ask for mild it's still spicy.

Lunch buffet is the best

There are so many Indian restaurants in the area, but if it is lunchtime then I have a hard time justifying going anywhere else. You get access to a large lunch buffet with vegan items clearly marked. Everything is vegetarian and I would guess about 75% are vegan.

The absolute best Indian food I’ve had

Definitely the best Indian food in atlanta! So many vegan options and many things can be made vegan. The staff knows well what has vegan and even what is made with/without butter. They have a lunch buffet that is incredible and everything is labeled clearly. Really nice indoor atmosphere, but unassuming outside with no outdoor seating. If you are looking for Indian food in Atlanta this is most definitely the best place to go.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff , Clearly written vegan options, Lots of vegan options &everything is so delicious

Cons: Expensive (although lunch buffet is a steal!)

Amazing lunch buffet for $10

I love this place! It’s such a great deal for a buffet. Everything is vegetarian so you know the V means vegan. I’m a big fan of the gobi (and tofu) manchurian.

Pros: All vegetarian, Very good vegan options , Great value

I am obsessed with this place. Literally every dish I've tried has been a winner. Definitely try one of the dosas, they're all delicious and super filling.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, 100% vegetarian, Exceptionally delicious and authentic

So So.

Not the best, but not bad whatsoever. I get Alo Gobi every time I go to an Indian restaurant and this certainly wasn't in my top 5.

Wonderful South Indian Food

I had a great time dining in at Madras. I am new to the area, so I was excited to find out there was an Indian Restaurant that served dosas nearby. It was better than I expected. The staff was knowledgeable about vegan and the menu itself used a V to indicate the vegan dishes. I will definitely be back here.

Very Tasty well presented Veg Food

We had kind of given up on Indian restaurants because we were so put off with the stale food and terrible service and horrible ambiance. But we decided to give this joint a try, and were pleasantly surprised - the food was very well prepared and service wasn't too bad. Most Indian restaurants look shabby on the inside but this restaurant had nice lighting and decor. We ordered the chili paneer dosa (which wasn't on their lunch menu - but they agreed to make it for us - nice gesture), mantra basket - which was a chaat (snack item made with yogurt) and idly/vada sambar combo and salt lassis. Everything was really yummy! The sambar and chutneys were not watered down which was a nice change from some of the other Indian restaurants we have been to.

Pros: vegetarian

Wonderful!

I love Indian food, but as a vegan I am always cautious because I know many of the traditional dishes use milk. This was a breath of fresh air, the vegan choices are clearly marked "V". To me, beyond food quality and variety, how friendly the staff is, is huge. The food quality, wide variety of vegan choices and very pleasant staff were all an experience I plan to relive in the near future. Love it!

Pros: The price was reasonable for the buffet, Clean restroom with soap!

Cons: It would be nice if there was at least 1 vegan, dessert

Buffet

I went for the $15 lunch buffet. It’s worth the money for what they offer. Vegan items are marked clearly with “V.” Everything was tasty.

Food is very tasty

We ordered vegetable cutlets, special thali (curry trio) and spring dosai (vegan). It was more than enough for 3 people (we took part of it home) and it was delicious. Most of it at least slightly spicy. I will definitely visit again.

Pros: All vegetarian, many vegan options , Clearly labeled vegan options in menu, Affordable, delicious

Cons: Many dishes spicy (if that’s a problem for you)

Delicious experience

Second time coming here for dinner and everything was delicious. Probably one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been period. All vegetarian, and vegan items are marked on the menu (there are many). Will definitely return anytime I am in Atlanta.

Amazing Southern Indian cuisine

At one point i was going to this place once a week. Believe me I was holding back. The modern setting is a delight for the vegan and vegetarian buffet. A great selection is offered and changes on a daily basis. The food warms my soul. They attract a wide variety of people which is a confirmation for me how great the food is.

Pros: Price, Buffet Selection, Staff
