Great little natural foods store - Edit
This is a well stocked, family owned, old school natural foods store. Nice bulk selection including Dr. Bronners refills. They sell individual vegan ice cream pops, lots of snacks & the fridge is always stocked with cold drinks. They carry a wide range of locally made products like herbal remedies, bread, tempeh & locally grown fruits & veggies. They've always got Rosetta's frozen peanut butter tofu, made in Asheville, and it is soooo good. It's not a vegan store but they have many vegan products.

There is a community bulletin board inside and a Little Free Library outside.

High priced natural foods and bad customer service - Edit
There’s a good selection of natural foods here and a lot of them are local which we liked. Everything we got we enjoyed but the things we found in there were pretty expensive. There were two people working, we were the only customers, yet neither of them said hello to us when we walked in, made any conversation with us when we were browsing or checking out, or said goodbye when we left. The lack of hospitality was a bit awkward for how tiny of a store it was.

A gem in the NC mountains! - Edit
Small town store, but uptown selections and variety. Very clean store, beautiful fresh local produce, and many bulk items (some not found in much larger stores). Family owned/run with owner on premises -- friendly folks ready to serve you. Will definitely visit again when traveling in this area!
