Lovely restaurant with large vege selections, decently prepared - Edit
Conveniently located in the general heart of the old town in a beautiful small building from 1619 nicely redone.

We went here on different days, Monday and Tuesday, both times the restaurant was closed. There was no sign that there is a restaurant, only the v-signs on the building, but nothing more than that. So probably closed?

Good food with a number of easily identifiable vegan options - Edit
After a few days in less touristy Cuban locations it was amazing to park and see the word "vegan" prominently displayed on their wall right beside our parking lot.
Read moreThere were a number of marked options on their menu including veggie meatball spaghetti and a peanut cream pasta. The servers were very friendly and the restaurant itself was nice and clean.
Pros: Actual listed vegan options , Clean, Friendly
Cons: A bit pricier but still reasonable for a tourist

Lots of options! - Edit
Glad we happened to walk past and see the big V sign! Lots of options for veggies and vegans. We had some really lovely hummus with banana chips, and croquettes. I had my one and only veggie burger whilst in Cuba, it was basic but tasted nice and I needed the stodge! My bf had veggie meat balls (which were actually more like croquette balls) and spaghetti. Unfortunately the service was spectacularly slow when we were there but it was just one guy on his own so felt bad for him, and we weren't in a rush so it was fine.

Smart restaurant with surprising vegan options - Edit
We stumbled on this place during our walk off the main streets. It's a stylish dinner place advertising vegan and vegetarian options. As it's tucked away, it wasn't full so we didn't have to wait for a table.
Read moreThere are items we hadn't seen anywhere else, such as polenta veggie 'burger' and pesto spaghetti (ask for it without parmesan). The food was tasty and well prepared. Atmosphere was nice, relaxed and friendly service. Highly recommend!
