My family and I had a trip to Bournemouth booked, and I looked up places to eat on Happy Cow and spotted this. So glad we went, as the food was delicious. As the smoothies are made fresh, they offered to remove the ginger from my daughter's berry smoothie. Every was delicious and tasted fresh. Nice boho vibe that I loved. Will visit again if we are back in the area.

Definitely our favourite in Bournemouth so far. Awesome food and awesome service. We had a burger with coleslaw and sourdough bread with avocado and were very happy. As a dessert, we shared a biscoff milkshake which was to die for. Definitely recommended. The only minor thing was that they don't have A/C but that would be fine during most days.

We had the Oyster Mushroom Sandwich and the Power Bowl with Potato Wedges. All were delicious and well presented. We also had the Carrot Cake and the Chocolate Tart which were lovely too. Very good service and a nice ambiance.

Menu choices good. Food quality high. However the portion sizes are on the small size, I left still feeling hungry. I bought cheesecake to takeaway and whilst I can’t fault the taste I was really shocked to open the box when I got home to find a sliver about 3 bites worth. Really disappointed and won’t be doing that again.

We were in Bournemouth for four days, we went to Mad Cucumber four times (and they were closed one of the days we were there). I love it, my kids love it, it's an essential Bournemouth visit. The food is excellent, the drinks are tip top, the atmosphere is glorious.

This used to be my favorite place in Bournemouth since their doors opened in 2013, however we had a bad dining experience a couple weeks ago. Despite having the entire place to ourselves, the service was very ‘matter of fact’ with no friendliness. They have removed longstanding classics from the menu and aren’t willing to do even the quick, simple ones despite having all the ingredients and being offered more money to do so. After 11 years of patronage, we weren’t made to feel welcome at all, even when asking about attending future events, which just got a one word ‘no’ response to every question. So sad the old owners have left!

Working in the business and living the business give us the idea of what customers desire, what popular cakes and dishes will never go off the menu and what instead needs a new offer. For this reason we believe that a place to thrive needs refreshing and if we were to keep the menu as it was forever, we wouldn’t be offering a good service or variety to people who want to experience new flavours too. After hiking 210km along the Jurassic Coast I have been craving a full English breakfast all week and was so happy to find Mad Cucumber is fully vegan, open on a Tuesday and serving a full English 🤩. It was really tasty with very fresh ingredients and the chai latte was unreal too!

A lovely quirky lounge style cafe in Bournemouth's The Triangle. They have a varied menu along with a separate kid's menu too. We had the falafel bowl, katsu curry and mac n' cheeze. All very nicely presented with decent portion sizes. All were very tasty. I also had a very nice almond latte and we all shared some delicious carrot cake and a slice of cheeze cake. Lots of puzzles & games dotted around the restaurant to keep you entertained while you wait.
