the burrito was nice but it could have had some/more sauce in it and the vegan options are rather limited. from the reviews here on happycow i was expecting more. compared go other restaurants in innsbruck i would not visit again.

The burritos we had were really delicious. They were also really big and filling, for a fair price. The have a stylish interior and also some spots to sit outside. The atmosphere is pretty lively, which was a bit much for me, but is great if you are looking for that.

Man kann halt nur zwischen Burrito (auch als Salat) oder Taco wählen und das veganisieren. Empfehlenswert. Preiswert, lecker, sättigend, da prall gefüllt. Auch die Location ist atmosphärisch, die Bedienung sehr zuvorkommend.

Tasty Burritos, Tacos & Drinks in a hip location - Edit
Since we didn't have a reservation for any place in Innsbruck on a Friday evening (and were rejected in two other places), we were happy to find Machete. Reservations are not possible here in general and we were seated after roughly 20 minutes of waiting. Could be hard to get seats with larger groups tho.
Read moreWhile waiting for a seat, several people also ordered Burritos to go. They "only" offer Burritos and Tacos (or without bread as a bowl), but because of this specialization the food is ready fast and very very tasty! If you avoid meat, cheese, sour cream and coleslaw, you're completely vegan. They also offer "plant based chicken" and the "pea mole", which is like a guacamole based on peas.
Order process is very convenient via checkboxes on a card. I can also recommend the drinks they offer at the bar.
Pros: Very fast , Fair prices
Cons: No vegan "cheese", "sour cream" and coleslaw

Vegetarian/vegan options, the rather new no chicken option is really good! Pea-mole instead of guacamole. Free choice of fillings. Cozy atmosphere. Hard to get a table without reservation.

Delicious Burritos in hip atmosphere - Edit
The vegetarian filling used for the burritos, tacos and burrito bowls was really tasty. Nice, hip atmosphere. Food is ordered using a printed form where extras can be specified. It is priced fairly. The drinks selection is also very good (my recommendation is the Chari-Tea Mate). The only downside is that it is always fairly full.

It’s really easy to make your burrito vegan. It tastes fresh and the portion is big. The interior is nice as well. Only downside: there’s no extra vegan sauce and you don’t get guacamole for free, if you order your meal without sour cream and cheese. Sometimes the burrito tastes quite salty.

A perfect dinner stop after hiking. The food was flavorful (I ordered spicy) and satisfied both the meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Really good guacamole!

Highly recommended! Delicious vegan burrito. The best I’ve had since moving to Europe. The place got busy soon after they opened for the day, so get there early or be prepared to wait a bit for a table.
