Best vegan food I’ve had in Uganda - Edit
It’s very comforting going to a lodge where vegan is acknowledged and understood. Mabamba lodge provided food on their menu and off menu to suit my needs. They provide fresh and delicious whole food, which is locally sourced.
Read moreAnything from curry, to beans or a traditional katogo. If you’re planning on eating there, ask for the pineapple crumble or the banana bread.
The banana bread is some of the best I’ve had, ever. These guys know how to cook.
On a separate note: the staff are the friendliest and most attentive I’ve experienced anywhere.
