Yum!

Always love a trip to the Linchpin. The food is always delicious and tastes like it’s made with love. I guess the menu doesn’t change that much but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! They allow dogs and have a good range of cakes. Everything on the menu is good but the hash potatoes and the French toast are real favourites. Get some take away cake to keep the joy going!

Pros: Vegan!, Dog friendly, Delicous

Cons: Maybe a little pricey

Get the French toast!!

Everything on the menu was vegan and we went with 2 meat eaters who enjoyed everything they ate too! The French Toast was aaaaamazing! The waitress told us they make the batter with soya milk and cornflour, it was so cakey and delicious I would have it again in a heartbeat! Staff were so lovely and friendly as well 10/10!

Pros: All vegan menu, Friendly staff, Delicious food

Cons: Was a bit noisy with the smoothie machine so close

French toast

Got the French toast and a side of hash for something savoury! Both were so so good and the service was lovely.

Beautifully presented dishes

Lynchpin has a small but curated menu (we went before noon so didn't have the option to choose from the lunch menu too). The meals are beautiful presented and were quite enjoyable. It's just a shame they serve cow's milk given everything else is vegan. I also found the meals pretty pricey (about £12 a plate) given the portion sizes, so it wouldn't be a place I'd visit often.

Lynchpin

The staff here really made the visit memorable, absolutely lovely cheerful people! Lovely chocolate swirl and oat flat white. All the baked goods were vegan and looked amazing, so it was hard to choose just one thing.😄

Amazing food, fab staff

The hash is a regular favourite but there are always seasonal specials and to die for cakes. Staff are so friendly and service is prompt. Friends haven't even noticed this place is vegan until I've told them!

Pros: Inventive and fab looking food, Taste of food, number of elements on the plate, Amazing friendly and knowledgeable staff

Cons: None!

Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had

Food is faultless. A little pricey, but amazing. No reason to serve milk from a cow though.

Pros: Creativity of menu , Quality of ingredients , Location

Cons: Serves milk from a cow

Delicious, if Not Expensive

Has a well cultivated menu with some interesting options. I ordered the hash which was fantastic, very fresh with excellent flavours. The only things keeping it from being five-star are the size of portions and the price. I would definitely return as a treat.

one of her best breakfasts i’ve ever had

wow wow wow. went in to have brunch ordered the house hash and bao buns amazingly presented staff were great even when it turned out we got the wrong milk in my hot chocolate. Basically they use dairy milk and butter in there drinks and our server presumed i wanted cow milk. We spoke to the owner after really lovely guy! and he explained they do that to keep there bread and butter people happy. Anyway the food was AMAZING the flavours were so good it was fresh. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. They also had a great street food menu katsu curries extra and soup and toastie and a selection of cakes and cookies that look delicious. Overall amazing place with great staff will definitely be going back!!

Lunchpin

Such an easy pun.
Back some years ago, Hollywood was one of the very few places outside Belfast you could be a vegetarian and get things out of restaurants.
Camphill does standard fare that is organic, here does a cheff-y range of brunch and lunch items. Lynchpin is clearly different and adds something valuable to the veggie scene in NI.
And it's doing a great job by the looks of how popular it was at 1130am on a Saturday. Got the tofu sliders - small burgers with cubed and spiced tofu with the hash - hashed potato in cube form. Of the two the hash was the standout. Lots of hummus, fried chickpeas and spiralized and pickled veg on the side.
Quite good and tasty. Thoughtful and well cooked vegetarian options are hard to come by, easier to find side dishes or fake meat nowadays. This was very refreshing and tasty.
Kitchen is open and we were served lightning fast.
Also got coffee and a smoothie - both great.
Only downside is, it wasn't cheap or huge portion wise, but the quality and effort in made up for that. They're also starting off so happy to fork out to ensure they get established!!!

Pros: Sassy, Cheffy, Nice

Cons: A bit more expensive side

4.5 stars!

Almost vegan venue (some cakes not vegan etc). The food is tasty but not particularly cheap - happy to pay it to support the business though. Chilled out venue and nice folk working there. Impressed at the number of plant-based places in Holywood so will be spending more time there soon!

Pros: Freshly cooked food, Good flavours , Almost completely vegan

Cons: Touch expensive

Inventive vegan food

Brilliant cafe in Holywood offering incredibly inventive freshly prepared vegan unprocessed food. Porridge with turmeric and granola is a delight and the Pesto Tofu on sourdough is exquisite. The decor is cheerful and stylish and the staff are very attentive and efficient.

Pros: Inventive vegan food, Great vegan traybakes, Staff friendly

Cons: Sell diary would like 100% vegan and almost there!, None, None

Amazing Brunch Spot

Lynchpin is the perfect brunch spot with great food and lovely staff. We had the Hash and Satay Scramble which I’d highly recommend. The food is delicious and so imaginative and I love that they regularly change the menu and daily specials. We can’t wait to go back for more. You will not be disappointed with this place ☺️

Pros: Delicious food, Vegan, Friendly staff

Tasty but not sure I'd say it's value for money

very tasty food and great to see another (mainly) plant based restaurant (they used to provide cow's milk; not sure if that is still the case).

only problem is that portions are very small for the price. I still go but would love to have a little more food on the plate

Great attention to detail

My friend and I both chose the hash from the brunch menu. It was delicious. Lots of effort has gone into the ingredients. Pickles, savoury jam, dips etc. very tasty, imaginative and beautifully presented. It could have done with a bit more low fat bulk such as wholegrain bread, grains, potato or even some leaves. Unfortunately we were both still hungry when we finished. I had a scone afterwards which filled me up but I had been hoping to stick to the wholefoods today. I was surprised that butter was served with the scone as when I checked that the hash was vegan I was assured that everything is plant based. I loved the cafe and will definitely return but would be wary of recommending to others, somewhere that leaves you hungry. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cafe is simply decorated. We had difficulty hearing each other but maybe it was just because we were near a speaker.

Pros: Delicious , Nearly vegan, Friendly

Cons: Butter was served after confirming vegan, Music too loud to converse easily , Not filing enough for one course main meal
