I went here three times and tried the cocobacon burger, Phillycheese burger, chocolate caramel slice, a berry cheesecake and a tropical smoothie. I also tried some of my friend's fries which were a mix of sweet potato and yucca.

First off, I gotta say the customer service was absolutely outstanding and I appreciate the lady helping us out so much! So friendly, speaks both eng/span very well, and was so nice to us and even let us sample her own cookie before we bought our own.

I've been eating at a new vegan place for every meal, all across costa rica for the last 2 weeks and this was one of the most amazing places I ate at!!! The food was soooo good!!! Get the Tropical Burger, it will blow your mind. And the kombucha that's available was the best we had as well! This place is truly a gem and is worth visiting multiple times in one stay.
Ps. They also have INCREDIBLEEE VEGAN DESSERTS!!! Truly the icing on the cake!! Love LuvBurger so much and I will always go back whenever I visit C.R.

I tried them when they had a store in Samara, and I was so happy to have found a gluten free and vegan place! I really loved everything I tasted. I wish I could visit the one in San Jose but I avoid the city as much as possible. Great to know that they opened here though!

Encontramos en restaurante por casualidad y nos encanto, las porciones son grandes, el sabor es muy bueno y para cerrar los postres son igual de ricos. Totalmente recomendable y es 100% vegano.

Came in to this restaurant based off HappyCow feedback. The space was beautiful and food tasted great. I ordered the coco bacon burger and it was tasty, but crumbled like a cookie upon me eating it. Also had yucca chips that were good and a cookie that was as hard as a rock.

An unscrupulous cab driver robbed us with his high fare and then dropped us off miles from the restaurant we wanted to go to. We began walking and walking toward Calle 33 and stumbled upon LuvBurger on Calle 37. So glad we went in. The food was delicious, the service is excellent and the portions are huge. The server even wrote a list for us of other vegan and vegetarian restaurants in San José. Did I say the portions were huge? We had enough for another large meal for 2. The prices are very reasonable.

I never usually leave a review but had to mention the amazing service I received here at Luv Burger. Hayzen went above and beyond to ensure that we had a warm, loving, and heartfelt experience! Because of the service we received, we booked our flight to come back to San Jose to visit Luv Burger once again. This restaurant is blessed to have such a wonderful host working there and really inspired me to continue to change other people’s lives for the better! We will never forget how Hayzen made us feel and believe me, I am a nurse practitioner and patients may forget your name but never forget the way you made them feel. Thank you so much for our meal this evening Hayzen and for making us feel right at home! Love always, Danny and Meera.

This establishment is super usually cute. Really nice people, chefs, workers...the food missed the mark I ordered the philly ceese and the burger. Both had been veggie meat that fell apart. The vegan mayo was good and homemade, I would not return. Super happy to visit while in CR.

Possibly the best vegan burger we have had! - Edit
We had the falafel bowl and the cocobacon burger on GF and it was absolutely amazing! We went back later and ordered dessert to go. We also had some drinks when we ate in the restaurant. It was so good and it really made our day after a couple of weeks of traveling!

Amazing Burgers - Edit
I've come here three times and tried three different burgers. They were all outstanding and extremely delicious! My personal favorite is the Cocobacon, but also the tropical was great. Price is fine, location beautiful and the staff very friendly.

I studied abroad in costa rica and i was one of the many vegan/vegetarians on the trip. This place was walking distance from our school and no joke we ran here every day for lunch. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious and portions were huge

The Holy Guacamole burger is delicious and so are the yuca fries! The house kombucha is also excellent if you’re into that. Finished it off with a chocolate vegan cheesecake that I have no idea what is called but it was damn delicious anyhow! The server spoke little English but we made it work in the end! 10/10
