A Little Gem! - Edit
We were out for a little bike ride and didn’t check Christmas opening hours of the place we had earmarked! Doh! Happy Cow to the rescue!
Read moreLush is a corner cafe directly opposite the Blackburn railway station. A Vegan Staff member reeled off the options - wraps, baguettes, soup, gelato and some house made cakes. We chose a wrap with a lentil pattie, salad and cranberry sauce. Fresh and yum. Couldn’t decide between the carrot cake and banana bread so bought both!

A lovely, unassuming, laid-back place run by friendly staff! Plenty of options for made-to-order fresh bread/baguette/wrap/Turkish bread sandwiches, a large menu of juices and fruit smoothies, and at least 3 plant-milk options for coffee etc. (I think there was an ice-cream counter too?)
Read moreIt's directly opposite Blackburn Station, with plenty of street parking and a carpark behind the main street shops, so it's extremely convenient to drop in for a snack!

Lush is a small and unassuming place but has plenty of vegan options - including home made dumplings, soups, custom made sandwiches/focaccia, and lentil or quinoa patties. The carrot bread is my favourite, and they have coconut icecream that you can have in an ice coffee or milkshake. And of course fresh squeezed juices.

Very friendly owners and staff. Clearly marked vegan options, great prices, and perfect location right across from Blackburn station.
Read moreI usually go for a soup (lentil or green goddess when it's available) and toast, and then some vegan dumplings to share.
Highly recommended! Susan, the owner, is amazing and goes out of her way to make things perfect. She'll make you something custom if you ask, as well.
