Sandwiches are sold by the half (palm of the hand sized), and soups are sold in cups. Has a vegan organic curry tofu salad sandwich, a beet reuben sandwich, sandwich with avocado, hummus, sprouts, and tomato on your choice of bread; a vegetarian sandwich with cream cheese. Also has a vegan protein salad, a raspberry bar, and one vegan cookie per day. Soups are always vegan and gluten-free; sides and smoothies are all vegan. Open Mon-Fri 9:00am-3:30pm.

Lunch on the Road - Edit
Our first stop on the way to Ceour D’ Alene was lunch at The Lunchbox Cafe in Ellensburg. They had a convenient covered seating area and several vegan options. We enjoyed a raspberry oat bar, the Beet Reuben (oh my lanta that was amazing!), the Vegan (so fresh and so yummy!), the southwestern rice and bean salad (spicy and full of flavor!), a protei. Smoothie and a healthy kids box (perfect pairing of pb bagel, carrots and applesauce). Such a nice stop to eat and rest a spell. ❤️

We love going here for their healthy, affordable food anytime in Ellensburg, especially when we’re heading to the park for a picnic. I love the smoothies that I always do with soy milk instead of juice for some protein, the soup and curried tofu wrap. My kiddos love the food too!

Good Food, Good Prices, Good People - Edit
The Lunchbox is a small drive-up or walk-up cafe with an outside covered patio for dining. There's both a veg and vegan option for sandwiches, a veg quiche, several salads, and smoothies that are 100% fruit and no ice or fillers. The prices are great, for under $6 I can get a healthy and filling lunch made by folks who care about what they are serving. The bread is fresh-baked daily at their own bakery and they also offer a number of home-baked treats each day as well. Very family-friendly.
