It’s Decent

The food is just decent. It’s not amazing, but it’s not “awful” by any means. The menu does label vegan options, which is helpful. I ordered the falafel wrap (added avocado) and the lunatic sampler. I love dolmas, but didn’t like theirs at all, the center was too mushy for my taste. The couscous salad was bland and mushy as well. Tasty enough, but not out of this world, humus, falafel and fresh veggies. Overall, if there were not other vegan options, or a non veg person wanted to go, it’s decent enough and I wouldn’t be upset over the “lost” money. However, especially in Hillcrest (and San Diego in general) there are so many better vegan options (even from non vegan restaurants), so willingly, I would not chose this place or crave it.

Update: Today I tried their new vegan bowl, and it was really tasty! I would order it again. I appreciate the expanding vegan options.

Cons: better vegan options at other restaurants , not that tasty (in my opinion)

Great mediterranean options

Love the falafel plate, all there salads are nice, Santorini or vegan bowl and falafel pita
