Nice but small portions - Edit
There are many vegan options. I had the scallion fries which was nice but too little for the money. I think the menu is a good deal but did not have it. The service took some time but was nice.

Nice but not great - Edit
Lucky tortoise was nice but not great. Some the of the food was very good, some stodgy and not very interesting. A mixed bag.

Felt Lucky - Edit
What a cool place! Eating with non-vegans and we all had great food; and of course the non-vegans liked the vegan options too! We got the small plates to share of various foods - the dumplings weren't enough on their own but the bao was very filling. I wasn't sure what was vegan and asked for clarification from the staff and they were very helpful and supportive, pointing out what was vegan or what could be made vegan for me. Can't comment on the sound, we went for a late lunch and it was very calm at the time.

Aaaaamazing - Edit
You definitely cannot say these guys don't give you value for money! I ordered the vegan all in and there was so much food! I ended up taking lots home! Great value and tasty food! One of the managers is vegan and that was great to hear because you know you can rely on the food being good. Plenty of dishes offered, dim sum in a modern setting and the staff are nice and friendly too. I will definitely be back!

place is ok - Edit
The food ended up being really good, with clearly marked vegan options.
Read morebut what dropped it for me was the service and general acoustic of the place.
It was really slow to order, and there were about 10 other people in the place with us and it was LOUD! All voices carried and me and my friend could barely talk.
Only reason is got 3 is because the food made up for it, otherwise would have been a 2.

Dude. - Edit
I’d give this place 5 stars if it would let me but it’s not all vegan. We got miso soup in a cold day as as appetizer and it was great, I don’t know what kind of seaweed it was but I don’t think I’ve had it before. We got the udon noodles which I was surprised was also a soup but it was delicious, the dumplings were mushroom and amazing. I got a side of white rice because I just like rice and it kind of blew my mind. Like, get the rice I don’t know what they did to it but it was amazing. House wine was not great but this place was fantastic and would highly recommend.

Great vegan food and really friendly staff - Edit
We went there recently as a university society event on world vegan day for a dumpling making class and it was great. As part of the class we were given tons of dishes and sides to try while we waited. There was a large variety of different types of East Asian cuisine served to us, and it was all fantastic. The dumplings that we made tasted amazing as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the area.
