I absolutely love lucky cat boba. There's a branch in Sunderland too 🧋💖 Everything is vegetarian, and a lot of products are vegan (they even do vegan marshmallows!)

They do a few snacks, like bubble waffles ice creams etc, but don't serve meals ☺️
Make sure you pick up a rewards card to get a free drink 🧋

We opted for the generous vegan brunch plates and indulged in shared pancakes afterward. The brunch experience was delightful, with sausages that stood out as a flavorful departure from the usual vegan alternatives. Our beverage choices were equally enjoyable, particularly the shared bubble taro drink, boasting a vibrant purple hue and a unique nutty/earthy flavor. While it might not suit everyone's palate, it was a pleasant experiment. Additionally, the iced coffees added another layer of greatness to our overall dining experience.

Seriously, I am OBSESSED with the crispy tofu and wedges here! Everything is at least vegetarian with a LOT of vegan options. The bubble tea is as good as it gets too! And the atmosphere and staff are also helpful and friendly

Lovely Vegan Brunch - Edit
We had the large vegan brunch plates and shared pancakes after. Brunch was amazing, the sausages were very tasty and not your average vegan alternative!
Read moreLove our drinks, we shared a bubble taro drink which was purple and very nutty/earthy tasting, not for everyone I can imagine but nice to try and the iced coffees were great too.
Lovely atmosphere and cosy, cute seating.
We had to change our mind a couple of times as there were quite a few things out of stock or unavailable at the time we visited, I'm hoping this was just a one off as we do plan to visit again to try what we missed out on.

Happened to be in the area on opening day and really enjoyed the raspberry soya milk boba tea with chewy tapioca balls that I bought. Building your bubble tea is simple, just choose your flavour tea followed by the topping(s), with vegan options clearly labelled. I was surprised at how quickly this place got busy when I visited but when the bubble tea is this good, it's no surprise! Loses one star for charging extra for plant milk though.
