Pretty Average

Came here for a breakfast a few weeks ago. Veggie sausages are just mushy potatoes and peas type, not great. So many staff members for such a small cafe and quite poorly organised. Wouldn't return unfortunately.

Around 3 options

Had oat porridge (actually ordered it again), with maple syrup and fruit.

Not many options but they only have a small menu regardless.

Friendly staff

Pros: Friendly, Nice porridge

Cons: Not many options

Quick Lunch, Several Vegan Options

The menu at L's Coffee & Bookshop is small, but there are a handful of vegan options available. I had the Falafel and Vegan Cheese Bagel and an Iced Latte with Oat Milk. Unfortunately, I left feeling slightly disappointed. Although the falafel was lovely the bread was a bit hard making it difficult to cut and they forgot to serve the dish with the advertised sweet chilli dipping sauce although I did fail to bring this to their attention as I had not noticed until half way through my meal. The iced coffee tasted lovely, but it was sligthly warm, which gave me the impression that it was perhaps served in a freshly washed glass. The lack of choices available in their cakes display was also pretty gutting, especially since they advertise themselves as having a wide vegan menu on their social media and I have seen vegan baked treats posted on there before.

This cafe seems immensely popular, and I could have just come on a bad day, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, and would try again, especially as the staff were so wonderful. I do not discourage other vegans from visiting this cafe, although there are many other cafes offering vegan dishes in Conwy, including an all vegan pub, but other vegans may have a better experience than me.

Pros: Exceptional Service , Vegan Options Clearly Stated

Cons: Only Vegan Flapjacks Available in Cakes Display, No Toilets in Cafe
