Amazing food and staff! - Edit
I had a great time at LNFC. The staff was very warm and helpful, I had the pesto pizza and the waffle. They were very tasty, with high quality ingredients and I cannot believe they charge such a low price for their food! They really look after their customers and provide the best service.

Peaceful Vibes, Handmade Slow-Cooked Food - Edit
Fully vegan, allium-free, and alcohol-free cafe nestled in the neighbourhoods! The menu items are all whole-food plant-based (i.e. no mock meat or processed ingredients), as well as prepared with minimal salt, oil, and sugar. Personally I enjoy the light, clean, wholesome, and healthy taste! Almost everything is made from scratch, plus slow-cooked with love and plated with care; suitable for eating with mindfulness. They have some mainstays in their menu, monthly specials (different items in alternate months), as well as some ad-hoc specials. Some of my favourites are the Ah Ma's Signature rice sets, Tofu Avocado Protein’s Lover, and Tofu Tempeh Beetroot Burger Set. Other popular items in the menu include the Pesto Pizza, Portobello Benedict, and Flaxseed Waffles with Ice-Cream.
Read moreOf note, they take pride in their bakes which are fermented for long hours for better digestive health (higher prebiotics, lower GI and gluten). The bread is indeed fresh and with a nice texture. They also have affordable tea sets for you to pair their bread buns with lattes made using Oatside oat milk.
The cafe has extremely calm, quiet, peaceful, and pleasant vibes. When you push open the door, the large clock without numeric digits is a reminder to set aside society-imposed concepts of time and stress, and to view life with a harmonious and grateful attitude. Yet, it never feels like they’re imposing religious teachings etc on you. It’s just a comfortable space to be in, and it’s a blessing to be able to take a breather here.
The cafe is run by friendly and passionate volunteers, and with these cost savings, they try to price their menu items as low as possible (i.e. reasonable prices, and without GST or service charge) for more people to enjoy vegan food. Each time I visit, I’m inspired by my conversations with them, and am in awe of their altruism and belief in the bigger movement of spreading kindness.
The cafe is only open on Fri-Sun, but it's understandable as they have limited resources and need time to prepare all the ingredients. Would recommend making a reservation and pre-ordering your preferred food to reduce food waste (check their social media for the links and menu). Do also bring your own containers/bottles if you want to takeaway! Conveniently located opposite Eunos MRT.

Run by passionate volunteers, food is great too - Edit
I have the chance to strike a conversation with the volunteers. Apparently, they only operate from Friday to Sunday because they spent their other days fermenting and preparing the food. All their food is plant-based, no mock products, making their food really healthy while not compromising the taste. The volunteers are really passionate and advocating veganism. I really enjoyed my meal over here.

Rendang set was delicious and flavourful. Comes with blue pea rice and a black/white fungus side dish. Tomato pasta was nice, but a little heavy on the oregano herb.

Brilliant tasty food. - Edit
The venue was amazingly designed, and the place felt warm and welcoming. The cream on the portobello burger and the 'cheese' that came with it were so creamy and tasty I could HARDLY believe it was vegan. I also loved the ice cream waffles. The mango ice cream was the creamiest and tastiest ice cream I've ever had. Even more so than non-vegan ones. The waffle was also very crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside

Awesome cafe with no wastage concept - Edit
I must say this vegan & allium-free cafe impressed me with their made-from-scratch sauces (even cherries were picked only when its ripe) & no wastage concept.
Read moreEvery dishes are perfectly seasoned. No nasties. Not oily. Not heavy tasting. Just perfect. Price are very reasonable too.
They were open since Sep 2021 and run by volunteers. Need to book and preorder the food, including bread. Open from Fri-Sun only from 11 am to 9 pm.
Why? To prevent food wastage. I would say they had a very good concept which truly align with going meatless; no mock and no wastage. Definitely must support as it isn't easy for a F&B to sustain in such a way.
Dishes that we had tried.
☆ Tea break set (matcha latte & multigrain bread; no pic)
☆ Red yeast vinegar fragrant rice set
☆ Pesto spaghetti (missing mushroom spaghetti pic)
☆ Portobello benedict burger set
☆ Rendang rice set (special of the day)
☆ Pesto pizza
☆ Steam dumpling
☆ Waffle with ice cream (ice cream are handmade by them too)
☆ Ice cream mini tarts (made of cashew)
☆ Hand drip coffee
☆ Rasberry & strawberry smoothies
☆ Steam yam cake
☆ peach gum
*Pizza, bread & burger are naturally fermented for at least 18 hours; making it more nutritious and better for digestion.
All are good, honestly speaking. My personal fav is pesto pizza, waffle, red yeast dish & portobello benedict burger. Pesto pizza are fresh and yummy. Waffle is light & fluffy. Red yeast dish is flavourable. Burger is uniquely juicy without any fried items. Yam cake is my fav! And I love their rasberry smoothies.
My friend even commented that she would prefer eating these than dining at some reputable restaurant inside shopping mall.
I bought their fermented handmade breads too. Love the aroma and texture of the bread.
Check out their menu & bread at https://linktr.ee/lnfc_sg
If only they could offer more greens, nuts and beans dishes. Soup dishes are welcome too.

Phenomenal Gem of a cozy Cafe - Edit
Wow! What an enjoyable evening of spectacular and splendiferous food and conversation with the staff!
Read moreEverything we tried tonight was solid gold! Key word to describe this glorious food is Balance. I'm a pure mushroom-holic and the mushroom spaghetti hands down was the most exquisite version of this dish I have ever consumed to date and I've lived almost 20 years in UK and the USA. We were asked if we preferred a saltier taste but we wanted to have it as they presented it. And we were not disappointed. The blend of three mushrooms and cashews along with anything else in their secret mixture was pure mushroom heaven. Don't expect a strong salty flavour but instead relish the pure earthiness of these humble fungi - blend of swiss brown, shitake and seafood/crab mushrooms along with the sheer creaminess of cashews. For me this was the pure essence of mushrooms and I was in heaven. In line with other customers, we were told that should one want a saltier flavour, they will happily mix in more sea salt. My personal opinion, with this degree of mushroom concentration, I happily kiss extra salt goodbye. The pasta was perfectly al dente and paired beautifully with this heavenly mushroom paste/sauce along with pieces of the same 3 types of shrooms. I could easily wat till I burst with this and the other dishes here.
Loved their handmade steamed dumplings. This arrived with 2 dipping sauces- one soy/black sauce like and the other a chili sauce. Truth be told, the dumplings were fragrant and tasty by themselves filled with a mixture of mushroom, black fungus, a little tofu etc. However the chili was astounding too
The pesto pizza was wonderful too. The crispiness of their in-house sour dough pizza base balanced so fabulously with their home made pesto which tasted fresh and light and it allowed the olives to feature. So what we had here was a fascinating mosaic of balanced nuances that was a pure treat for 3 hungry family diners, 2 of us long time vegans. A pizza that was sliced into 8 pieces was the healthiest and most satisfying pizzas I have ever enjoyed.
We also shared their red yeast vinegar rice. The standout for me of their was the little enzyme drink that had such fragrant fruitiness. The blue pea rice was also perfectly cooked and balanced nicely with the generous mushrooms and fungus red yeast vinegared ingredients.
I loved their dessert too. Waffle with double scoops of ice cream- one chocolate, one vanilla. Not too sweet. Perfect end to meal.
Pros: In house created sauces, Quality ingredients where flavours shine, Excellent price point
Cons: None

Simply Wonderful! - Edit
This is a fantastic little gem and you just have to come here and give them a try!
Read moreThe food is a mix of local, Western and fusion so there is something for everyone. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the place itself is small, intimate, clean, and quite simple.
The food itself is exquisite. Fresh, good quality ingredients and everything is homemade. The mushroom spaghetti is amazing! The pasta is al dente and the sauce is a homemade blend of different mushroom varieties based primarily on Swiss brown mushrooms which give a wonderfully deep, rich umami flavour that is still light and fragrant.
The pesto pizza comes on a traditional, thin base of freshly made sourdough bread that is fermented for 18 hours for a spectacular flavour. It is cooked to be nice and crisp round the edges just as it should be. The homemade pesto has a delicate taste with just enough lemon to give it a pleasant sharpness that cuts through the stronger flavour of the black olives and sweetness of cherry tomatoes.
We also tried the red yeast rice bowl and this brings me to what for me is the single word I would most apply to all the food here, and that is - BALANCE. All the food here has wonderfully balanced flavours, with no one ingredient overpowering any of the others. The result is dishes that are really enjoyable without the strong, dominant taste of one particular element.
To finish we had the waffle with both vanilla and chocolate ice cream. The waffle itself was light and crisp, and without the heaviness that I frequently find in Singapore through using excessive amounts of oil. The homemade ice cream is cashew based, creamy and smooth and not too sweet. And note that the portion is generous. Don't buy one each unless you are really hungry!
I have seen a couple of comments that the food can be a little bland here but I completely disagree. If you are used to the excessive use of salt, oil and sugar in your food (and MSG!) that many places employ to cover up the lower quality ingredients they use, then your palate might take a little time to adjust to these more delicate, natural, balanced flavours. But I promise you, your taste buds will adapt quickly and you will wonder how you ever enjoyed those overpowering, saturated meals you used to like. Give these kind, engaging and wonderful people a try! You definitely will not regret it :-)
Pros: All vegan menu, Friendly and convivial atmosphere, Very reasonably priced
Cons: Can take a little work to find
