Amazing vegan food - Edit
Beat place in Reykjavik for vegan food. I got the shrimp to start, Korean noodles for my main and apple tart for dessert which was perfect. My partner got the shrimp to start and the pho as a main. I obviously had a taste and was blown away. Staff were very friendly and food was delivered quickly. You won’t be disappointed if you go here

Always worth a visit - Edit
We had dinner at Loving Hut Hamburg (Germany) before, so we kinda knew what to expect. We haven't been disappointed. Staff was super friendly and patient and the food was amazing, especially the Chicken Kungpao.

Essen war sehr lecker, für mich etwas zu ölig, aber das ist in Island sowieso bekannt. Sehr nettes Personal, Ambiente schön und gemütlich.

Fantastic food - Edit
Visited Iceland in May for a week, with my vegan partner & omni parents.
Read moreThere's so much choice, the restaurant is lovely, staff are friendly, and the food is reasonably priced for Reykjavik!
We ended up eating here 4 of the 7 nights - my parents were the ones who kept wanting to return & I was more than happy to keep returning. Only wish there was one in my part of the UK.
Between us we tried most of the menu, and it was so nice to be spoilt for choice.
Pros: Fully vegan , Friendly service , Fantastic options, tasty food, great price

Excellent food - Edit
A first-class restaurant with mainly Asian-inspired vegan food. If you want a more mainstream eating experience with plasticised menus (and pictures of the food) in a warm, half-formal atmosphere, this may be your choice. The food was beautifully prepared and served.
Read moreThe querkiness and raw informality of many vegan restaurants (which I prefer) was absent — but the quality of this restaurant is undeniable! Go there.

Vegan Asian food - Edit
Fully vegan with lots of options - mostly Asian cuisine. Food was very tasty and I especially appreciated the fact that you could order some side vegetables, very much needed after two weeks in Iceland! The interior of the restaurant was more luxurious than the other Loving Hut's in Reykjavik, but the prices were still quite affordable. And they have dessert here! The tiramisu was really good but the center was a bit too sugar-y for my taste.

Shakey shakey stir stir - Edit
Compared to the other loving hut, the interior looks a lot more luxurious. To be honest it looks a little more catered to non Asians. The smell is less Asian and the food is a little more bland. Options are rich and tiramisu is godly. They do have one flaw: they forget to shake and stir. I got a purple tea. At first I thought okay the flavour is a little dim, which can be nice if you sometimes like subtlety like me. Then I pour myself a second glass and bam! There is all the sugar, literally my throat hurts from the sugar. I poured some water in top and that mad it better, but still a lot of sugar. The same for the tiramisu, nice flavour but 80% of the sugar appeared to be in the middle of the dessert...

Can't recommend - Edit
The husband and I were super excited to try this restaurant during our stay but we were kind of really disappointed.
Read moreThe restaurant looks great and cozy. That's a yay. The service was really bad, though. The waiter did not really understand or speak English at all. To the point of where she did not understand that we were not ready to order yet because we were still broesing options or me asking if the "red tea" on the menu is actual hot tea or an ice tea was not understood. So it's not surprising that we got wrong things which we then couldn't clarify because, yeah, not understood. After we had food, we were ignored from then on. No possibility to order more drinks or dessert (which, let's face it we wouldn't havd because we didn't like the food, but whrn judging the service it's about having the option to order more)
Anyhow. The food was ... okay ... the appearance was great but it all was really bland and meh. They rely heavily on frying stuff for great texture (on the outside) but nothing we had really made us go "yay".
This restaurant can't hold a candle to the Dragon Dim Sum or the salad at Mama or even the pizza at the Deli. Just uninspired, mediocre and left us kind of disappointed.
We had 2 appetizers and 2 mains and all of it was edible but we would not order any of them again or come back for more.

All vegan food in the centre - Edit
Came here late after being dropped off from an all day tour. Lots of choice and a nice interior, the service was okay, the waitress forgot my partners drink order. I tried the cheese stuffed tofu with fries, coleslaw and onion rings which was filling after a busy day. My partner had the burger and said it was one of the best he’d ever had. Food came out quickly.

Service let it down - Edit
Ok so the food was ok, just ok though.
Read moreThe service however was the problem with my visit. The lady who served us seemed like she didn’t want to be there and my visit was an inconvenience to her.
It was only me and another family in the restaurant but the service was beyond slow.
She brought my food out and we had to wait around 5 minutes for my sons to come out (by which time mine was nearly cold)
I had really high expectations for this place and it was such a shame
