Delicious and inexpensive! - Edit
Stopped at Loving Hut for our first meal in Reykjavík before our road trip. I got the yellow curry and my partner got the fried rice. Both were delicious and very flavorful! Quick service too. Can always count on Loving Hut when I’m traveling internationally! The meal was pretty inexpensive too for Iceland standards - about $30 USD for both our dishes.

Go to vegan restaurant - Edit
Just like any vegan world peace restaurant globally, this is one of 2 in Iceland. The food is really great Asian fusion, as well as some more western options like burgers.

Relatively inexpensive for Reykjavik! - Edit
I'd never heard of this chain until visiting Iceland but apparently they're worldwide. The TVs are playing messages from the 'supreme master' throughout your visit... Definitely a bit culty 😅 If you want cheap Asian food, it's worth a visit! Definitely the cheapest place you'll eat as a vegan in Iceland!

Great Place for Vegans (or anyone) in Reykjavik - Edit
This place was great for our trip. The food was delicious! I think we ate here 3 times in our trip, and we only spent 3 nights in Reykjavic.
Read moreOn our last day, I lifted the Husafell Stone up in Husafell, and then we drove down to go to living hut. I ordered 3 entries, which are each very large already. It was the best reward for my hard work! So good.
I also had a craving for fries a different time, and asked if I could order fries just as a side (it normally comes with the american sandwiches). They added a huge side of fries for like $3 USD!
Pros: All vegan!, High protein options

Tasty asian fusion food! - Edit
I went to this restaurant nearly every day, for nearly every meal of my day. That's how delicious it was! The menu seems endless. I wish I had enough time in Iceland to eat every single thing in the menu. The strawberry banana milkshake was my obsession.

This place is phenomenal. Iceland of all places is where I find the best vegan food I’ve ever had. The owner takes pride in her restaurant and it shows! Highly recommend.

Loving Hut - Edit
My favorite meal in Reykjavík was the Bun Rieu soup I had at this Loving Hut! It was absolutely delicious. The papaya salad was OK but could’ve been spicier and more flavorful.
Read moreI do have to mention, the ambience of this specific LH is much more elevated than other LH locations. My partner even commented about how he enjoyed visiting this LH location (He generally will not go to LH’s with me because he believes they lack ambience.), so that was a win.

There are so many options and they are all delicious sounding. The inside seating area is also very cozy. Sadly there was no Panna Cotta.

Loving hut should be in every major and small city - Edit
This food is delicious! The mock meats are really good. It reminds me of my time in Taiwan where loving hut was more common. The fact that they can replicate this feeling is a great sign

Nice appetisers - Edit
We only tried a couple of appetisers here because we weren’t very hungry, the vegan ‘fish’ was really good. Shame we didn’t have more time to go back and try some of the main dishes!

Wow! If you love Vietnamese food, you will love Loving Hut. Their motto is "Vegan World Peace". The food was amazing. I highly recommend supporting a fully vegan restaurant, especially one with great food. They have plenty of seating and the restaurant is right in the heart of Reykjavik. This is a humble place but it's worth a visit. Save room for dessert because it's a real treat.

Looking for places that did vegan food whilst on holiday as most places just offer vegan burger or sandwich as their only options. Found this place it is everything as good as we hoped for!

Amazing food - Edit
Had shrimp starter, korean noodles and mushroom arancini between 2 of us. The shrimp were amazingly realistic. All the food was fantastic and very filling. I asked what the shrimp were made out of and the server had no idea as they were bought from a supermarket. Fine for me but if you have any allergies (soy, wheat etc) it could be a concern.
