I ordered a mild hot stew and a soy cutlet.
Read moreHot stew is a bit spicy. The soup with tofu, dried vegetable, fresh vegetable and mushroom. The fries are crunchy, and the cutlet is also yum. The sauce goes well with them. Miso soup is served with cutlet, and it is nice.
Location is just beside the road. We drive here with caution but still miss it. The side of the road is free for parking.

Very cute and small place. The owner seems to do everything by herself and cooks the meals freshly. I had the cold kimchi noodles, they were very good and refreshing on this hot summer day. My partner had the soy cutlet and also really liked it.

Very lovely place. I asked for the mild stew, the staff informed me they didn't have it in stock anymore but they could make the "spicy stew" but make it less spicy, cause unfortunately me and spicy don't go well together. It was very delicious and I enjoyed my meal.
Read moreThey also have some groceries you can buy there so I picked up a pack of instant ramen to take with me.
The only thing is that I found it had to find/knowing how to get there with my car, but that might also just be a me problem 😅

The menu isn't extensive. Must try the Jajang noodle. When I just arrived and haven't entered the store yet, these were dogs barking continuously (which were kept in the backyard).

I had the soy cutlet which came with chips, salad and rice - it was delicious! This restaurant is onion / garlic / allium free! The lady who works the shop is incredibly lovely, and her adventures with the cat that lives here are hilarious and heartwarming.

Friendly workers and really good food. I got the soy cutlet which came with a variety of sides. I also got the green tangerine tea which I was worried would be bitter, but it was really sweet. But good! And melody! The cutest and friendliest cat ever. Definitely made this trip worth it.

Best Korean vegan food I had! - Edit
A small restaurant with a very sweet owner. Just a few dishes on the menu that looked a bit basic at first (we had chicken and rice, and rice with eggplant and tofu), but they really surprised me! Flavors are really good, some of the best vegan food I had in Korea. We loved both of our dishes. Definitely recommend!

We weren't sure whether this would be open but took a chance and got off the bus at about 6:40 to race over. Sadly it looked closed but the owner saw us and beckoned us in, and very kindly opened back up. I'd recommend calling in advance to let her know that you're coming.
Read moreWe asked what she recommended and she suggested the mild hotpot stew and soy chicken pieces. Both came with rice, salad and a few extras and were so tasty. We were so pleased to be welcomed in that I think anything would have tasted good to us, but this was genuinely good food prepared with care. The portion sizes were good too, with the selection of sides. We left very happy! Cute pets too!

Read moreMy friend and I ordered the Hallasan Soup 할라산 고사리 똑배기 (even in the dead of summer! HA!) and the Eggplant Rice 가지 dish. Both were incredible. My Korean friend was absolutely in love with the soup and proclaimed this was the best meal we had on Jeju Island!
We also enjoyed her blueberry lemonade. In looking at the menu photos on Happy Cow, it seems the owner changes the menu! We spoke in Korean, so I'm not sure how good her English ability is. But when it's all vegan, what is there to worry about? :)

The restaraunt is next to the "highway" and hard to reach because the public Transportion via bus is not that good as in Seoul or Busan.

Unfortunately, she doesn't had everything available on the menu, for example Japchae or the dessert.
The Portions are a bit too small for me, so I ordered a burger extra.
But all in one, it was a delicious experience!

Long live loving hut! - Edit
My first time trying loving hut, and it was amazing! The prices are very good and the food is delicious, there is a big variety and we tried half the menu. Its so nice not to have to stress about the ubiquitous meat found in most Korean food. My favorite items are the fried dumplings and chop chai bab (rice and noodles). The owner is lovely and the atmosphere was cozy, like your grandma's house. I just wish they had one in Busan!

Absolutely adorable looking restaurant on the highway. The host was so warm and kind. Had the hot rice stew and it was 🔥. Other dishes looked super appetizing as well. Very very highly recommended.

Read moreYou should definitely try this place, but do note that the address cited here is not the right one (we literally went through an orange grove just to find out the place was nowhere to be found). Try looking up the correct address on google😄the restaurant is right there on the sidelines of a main rode.

A tiny place near the high way. The owner is a really kind and friendly woman who cooks delicious food. If you come here, you have to try the dumplings, ramen and stew. They are incredible!!

There are not many vegetarian friendly restaurants around this area so we were lucky to find this place. We drove and parked on the street just beside the cute restaurant. Tried the tofu stew and ramen which were good, love the green tangerine drinks too.

We stopped off here on our way from Seogwipo to Seongsan ( about an 8 minute walk from the bus stop) and had an awesome meal. Everything was super fresh and flavourful. Note that if the restaurant is empty, call the number on the door/ business card and the owner will come from their home behind the restaurant. Best veggie food we had on Jeju.
