Yummy food; but no atmosphere is part of its charm - Edit
One of our go-to places to eat. Low key, relaxed, very bare bones but we think the “no atmosphere” is part of its atmosphere. Food is great & all vegan. Wide selection & fast service.

My first time and probably my last time. The waitress was real rude and snappy. I don't know they they closed at 3PM. We got there at 2:30
Read moreShe rushed us to put our order in. Didn't explain the food options. I order the Spicy Cha Cha. My friend order the spicy fries, we both had a slice of cake of dessert. No water was served or ketchup for the fries.

Vegan and gluten free dining - Edit
Our party all ordered different items (Pad Thai, Curry, Fried Rice, Sizzling Rice and Veg). Each dish was fresh & delicious. Serving size was adequate. The vegan milkshakes were also gluten free and we're very good. We would love to go back.

Looks can be deceiving - Edit
I saw pictures and saved this place for a time we were hungry and in the area, my expectations were low and they shouldn't have been. This place is wild. The Spicy Cha Cha is exactly what you should order.

Good menu, but hit or miss - Edit
The menu has plenty of vegan choices, but the food itself is hot or miss. About 1/2 the things I’ve had are really good. 1/4 are decent and 1/4 have been not great. Everyone’s tastes are different, but you may want to get recommendations. I also experienced slow service which was mentioned elsewhere in the reviews. 4 stars are primarily due to vast vegan menu and some legitimately good food. Most recently, the dumplings were very good. Curry lacked flavor.

I’d heard of Loving Hut on the east coast but never got a chance to try it. I was so glad to hear there were two locations in the Phoenix metro area. It’s such a fun, tasty, friendly place with an interesting menu and decent prices. Highly recommend!

Absolutely awful service and cleanliness - Edit
Went into the lovin hut at 8pm , maybe 14 people already eating inside. Told to “just sit down” , waited for the menu, looked good. Surrounded by dirty tables, 2 serve staff on. Waited to get our order taken, she came over, very rude, took our order. I had to repeat myself so many times, she wasn’t listening really. Not interested in giving any type of service let alone good service. After taking our order, told us “ it’ll take a while” . I was so appalled by this place , we left!

Nonvegan Mom Blown Away - Edit
We're visiting family here in Arizona and I wanted to try the local vegan restaurants. My mom saw the menu and decided to give it a try. She got the BBQ noodles and she was so surprised at how delicious the plant protein was. She was trying to get everyone to taste it because she could not believe it! The sauces were so rich and the veggies so fresh. Definitely going back in the future!

I wanted to try everything. I went with two things I know well, Banh Mi and the coconut curry. I had them make the curry spicy and it was perfect. My bill came out to 17$ and this was wayyy too much food. Great food, great price, great staff.

Food's great and it's near my home. I've never had anything here I didn't love... except for the service. Really sad to lose this as one of my usual restaurants, but I know where I'm not wanted.

best vegan restaurant I’ve been to! - Edit
This was so amazing. We were nearby and got hungry - was not planning to eat out originally. So glad I got hungry! :) used happy cow app and this was the closest restaurant.
Read moreMy omnivore fiancé was seriously impressed and so was I. Staff was so lovely and food came very quick.
We shared the soup which was sizzling rice soup and he had a western burger while I had BBQ noodles. The soup arrived and the fried rice was indeed sizzling and poured into the soup right in front of us. The most delicious soup I’ve tasted. And I’m Hungarian I almost always eat soup! The plate was so big we could share without noticing it was half a portion. Not sure maybe it’s an American thing but for me it definitely seemed like very descent size.
I had to try the burger it was so appetising and it was the best choice. So delicious. I love burgers but have not found many vegan burgers that are really good and satisfying alternatives. Don’t get me wrong a but burger is quite great but not the real thing. Even bean or sweet potato burgers are not always there. But this one!!!! Oh my... so yummy!!!!!
And then the noodles! Yummmmm.
Then we had a cheesecake as well. I have to admit for me it was way too creamy but I was told (partner) that it’s how it’s supposed to be. Lol.
I saw they also sell raw or frozen stuff like ‘prawns’ or ‘bacon’ they looked very much like the real thing. If I lived here I definitely would have bought some of those.
Fantastic experience. Definitely recommend!!!!!
Pros: good size portions, lovely staff, delicious food

Awesome food! - Edit
I have been to this location many times in the past 2 years. It's one of my favorites in Az. Have been to many Loving Huts globally and this is one is one of the best! My favorite is the Spicy Pad Thai (they make it with a peanut sauce) it's awesome!!! I also have had the Spring Rolls with peanut sauce and the Heaven Rice rolls with peanut sauce, both are my faves! The Yellow Curry is also great!

Worth the slight detour on your way from the Airport to Scottsdale! - Edit
We were in Scottsdale for a swim meet and this was the only option for us late on a Thursday evening as we traveled up from Phoenix to Scottsdale. I think that being 'off peak' helped because we had the most excellent and friendly service! The Pho, mandarin chicken & Love of family dishes were flavorful and you can adapt 'spiciness' either by asking when you order, or by asking for hot sauce. Everything is vegan & they have cakes, cheesecake, ice cream & even vegan jerky in the store! It was a vegan oasis! We also enjoyed the summer rolls as an appetizer. The whole family ate here & loved it - which is saying something because I now have teenagers......
