I come here often & have tried about 6 or 7 diff dishes & every single one of them has been delicious. They're also very filling! My non-vegan fam & friends enjoy the meals here too. Great prices, friendly staff, & it's located at an easily accessible spot w plenty of parking underground. Highly recommend!

Junk Food for Vegans - Edit
I’ve been a regular at Loving Hut since 2010 and they always do such wonderful meals. If you’re looking for “healthy vegan” there are some options but in general it is lots of meat substitutes (which are delicious) but understand that may not be for all. I love all there food. Lasagne is amazing. Desserts are amazing. Reasonable price for dinner service. Takeaway options available too.

New Saturday morning brekkie! - Edit
They've just started serving breakfast on Saturday mornings and every single dish is a banger. The vegan benedict is a whole new flavour to me, one that now I cant live without.

Amazing food! - Edit
This place is a little gem! The food is incredible and very authentic!! I had the sweet and sour dish and my partner and mother had the fish and chips and pumpkin aranchini balls. We took my mother who isn’t vegan and she also loved it - I think that says it all! Very reasonably priced too!

The best vegan menu - Edit
This place has the best vegan menu, everything I’ve tried has been delicious and not too expensive. My favourites would have to be the fried Portobello Mushrooms and Garlic Cutlets.

Delicious Laksa - Edit
I’m generally disappointed by laksa made outside of SE Asia (or my own kitchen), but this one ($13.50) was just delicious: beautiful cylindrical semi-thick rice noodles, tofu and protein, heaps of veg; delicious broth. Downside: soup so substantial, no room left to try their decadent chocolate cake 😭

I Highly Rate This Place - Edit
Loving Hut is just that. The staff are beautiful wonderful people. Very helpful and friendly. Their food is made with so much kindness and tastes phenomenal. My kids loves their menu, spaghetti bolognase is their choice. I love the Laksa and the Golden Curry. I’ve had everything in the menu and nothing is bad. Oh also, they do this deep fried mushroom. A massive portobello mushroom deep fried in fantastic spices and served to you like a cut up pizza. Most of the oil is drained but you may need to squeeze it as it absorbs some oil. Yum yum!!!

Best ever. - Edit
Inside and outside seating. Food is quick to be served. Huge menu and tastes especially amazing. Frozen food section to take stuff home to cook yourself. Serves fresh doughnuts sometimes! Staff is friendly. No interruptions and a great place to chat with one another (no loud music or overbearing staff). A favourite go-to.

Good variety of food - Edit
Loving hut has a big variety of vegan food. Mostly inspired by SE Asian cuisine and with mock meats and soy products. Very tasty. The loving hut chain is run by some kind of vegan cult, which displays "propaganda" TV shows and books in their restaurant.

Great vegan fast food - Edit
Loving Hut is vegan chain slightly more upmarket than a fast food restaurant and being what it is - I think it is fabulous!
Read moreI have been many times and I think I have tried nearly everything on the menu. I like the asian salad and simply because I miss it from my childhood - spaghetti bolognaise. My husband has the black bean dish nearly every time and LOVES it. The only dish that I don't like is the sweet and sour 'pork' as the sauce is very sweet and ordinary.
The pan bread, if you like fried food, is yummy. Also the iced coffees and desserts are scrumptious. Yes sometimes they are busy and the service a tad slow and sometimes communication a bit lacking, but they are always pleasant and lovely. Sometimes it is a bit noisy for me, but that is everywhere you go.
I have been to a few Loving Huts now (the other 2 in Sydney) and I find the variety of food here is better and I enjoyed the food more.
I love their message and that they care about animals and the environment as well and support charities.

30 min wait - Edit
We attended tonight and asked for a refund half way through the meal. Eftpos wasn’t working, 30min wait for a smoothie and then my dinner came out, also 30min wait and it was cold. We asked for refund.... see if they still process the eftpos manually.... I’ll be very cranky if they do.

Great place - Edit
Loving Hut is near a bus stop and has underground parking so it is very accessible to get to. The food is delicious, everyone is polite, and they are very good at altering food if you have allergies. Everything is reasonably priced and they have a lot of information on becoming vegan.

good food and good prices - Edit
This place is great because it's got a wide range, is cheap and has good service. Some dishes are better than others in my opinion. The starters are great, as well as the cakes and the super choc berry smoothie. Other favourites are the seven seas, the loving wrap, the heavenly salad and the fake duck pancakes.

Always good food - Edit
I am a big fan of all loving huts and this one delivers also... they have a wide variety of mostly asian inspired vegan meals and even a few western dishes such as lasagne and spagetti.. Im a regular at this restaraunt for the food and the atmosphere and the service (atmosphere is simple - but inviting)

hit and miss - Edit
I have been here several times now, my first visit was a good experience however my 2nd and 3rd were not so great. The girl on the front counter serving was so rude and actually seemed a bit bored being there. Portions sizes my 2nd time here were much smaller than my 1st visit as well (I ordered the same items). I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here anymore but if im in the area I'll get takeaway.

special vegan restaurant - Edit
I have eaten at Loving Hut restaurants in Australia, Thailand and Vietnam but I always look forward to visiting to this one ... Loving Hut is not like other restaurant as it is run by followers of the Supreme Master tv group ... sometimes I have been as part of a vego group but mostly I go on my own ... I have worked my way through everything on their menu and have not been ever disappointed with the quality or quantity of the food ... this week's visit was no exception with same beautiful food and same great service ... updated menu photos uploaded

The food is not bad but can be quite oily, and sometimes not hot enough. Overall it's quick, easy and reasonably priced, but not very fresh. If you're into fake meat and vegan versions of old favourites, you'll have a good time. If not, there are better options.
