A Staple - Edit
I’ve yet to pick something from the menu that I haven’t enjoyed thoroughly. My go-to is the pistachio soup and the American panini.

I have always enjoyed the food here, but I've recently learned that the religious channel they show here is extremely pro trump. I could care less what your politics are, but a business should be all-inclusive.

Thanks for sharing about the cult tv. We will not give them money. Went to Rooted Vegan twice on an overnight trip. It’s amazing.

I didn't say anything about the channel they play, but thank you for making me aware of it. I hadn't eaten there in a while and didn't realize they were pushing politics. If it were just the goofy religious stuff, I could overlook it.

Overall: We always loved this restaurant when we lived in-town, and years later we still relish the chance to try it when we're visiting Fort Wayne.
Further:
Service- Service has always been consistently great whether dining in or just carrying out.
Quality- The food is delicious, and not just because it has been the only all-vegan restaurants in Fort Wayne. We've generally enjoyed everything we've tried, and this was our go-to place to bring friends and family visiting us when we lived in the city. My favorite was (and still is) the Heavenly Nuggets which has their sweet and sour vegan nuggets and stir-fry with your choice of white or brown rice. It is packed with flavor! My wife's favorite used to be the grilled pineapple sandwich. In our most recent trip she said she still enjoyed it, but they changed the bread used for the bun and she's going to get something else next time. This most recent trip we also had the chili cheese fries and a strawberry popping boba drink.
Value-The menu is fairly priced and portion sizes are about what you expect if not a little more.
Vegan Options- All vegan, as all things should be 🤘
Misc - As part of the Loving Hut chain, the restaurant has TV's on the Supreme Master cult channel. It has always been pretty weird but in our most recent visit it was calling one of the presidential nominees "His Excellency" and "God's-Chosen Leader". It was very off-putting and I wasn't the only one in the restaurant bothered by this as it actively went against facilitating an inclusive environment. To quote another table's comments when they noticed it "Yeah....ok...."
Pros: delicious food, some outdoor seating available, lots of parking
Cons: cult TV

Large menu - Edit
The menu is very large with many options ranging from appetizers to desserts. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. I had the buffalo wings with potato kale soup and the cheesecake with strawberry drizzle.

This is a destination site, not just a place to visit if you are in the area! - Edit
Oh, my goodness! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. I guess the highest compliment would be that I wish they were located in my city. They offer the most amazing food (super delicious), great portion sizes, lots of options, decent prices, and fantastic service. Good customer service and kindness are hard to find these days, but not at Loving Cafe. This place has it all! I'm thankful for the Happy Cow website, which helped me find this restaurant while planning my vacation. I hope I can make it back to Fort Wayne to visit this place again. AMAZING!

Yummy! - Edit
We stopped in for a late dinner (to go). I had the sweet and sour veggie bites and my husband had the veggie fried rice with tofu. We also tried their mushroom pistachio soup and the cheese cake. Everything on the menu is vegan which is awesome! We really enjoyed everything we tried. Cheesecake was good but I might try their carrot cake if I were to go back.

Lovin the Loving Cafe - Edit
I never thought I'd be recommending a restaurant in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but the Loving Cafe has changed my mind. The cafe features a wide variety of American and Asian cuisine options, generous portions and friendly, attentive staff. Also, try the soup! It looked delicious when our neighbors ordered it. Fries are good and come in a BIG basket that is appropriate for sharing. Surprising, wonderful experience and not far from the highway if you're just passing through.

Every dish is salty. Sulfites preserving & contaminating most items. Almost every dish is made with onions or chives. No gluten-free items at all. No tofu dish can be made without wheat and/or sulfites. Nothing for me to eat except steamed rice with steamed veggies, just like at a steak house.

Very lucky to have this great vegan place in Fort Wayne - Edit
Love this place. Primarily Asian food but also with lots of American options. Have tried about 25% of the menu by now and really enjoyed all but the Pad Thai (admittedly not something I ate before becoming vegan though). Grilled burrito and golden soup are my favorite so far. For a small place that can get pretty busy at lunch time, their turnaround is pretty quick.

Not so good this time around - Edit
This was my second time here. We had four things: house salad (with not very flavorful dressing), summer rolls (with tough vegan protein and ok taste), pad Thai (couldn't take more than a couple bites, tasted soapy) and the Japanese Udon (which was pretty good).
