Amazing and Overpriced - Edit
Everything was so good and the place is beautiful. They sell a lot of vegan things in a small marketplace area of the shop.

Great Matcha - Edit
I was excited to try their matcha, as I have been desperate to find a decent one in San Diego, and this cafe hit the mark! I opted to try their original matcha latte (with oat milk), and while I am no matcha expert, my drink had a (not watered down) matcha flavor and was smooth without a bitter aftertaste, so I was happy.
Read moreThe actual cafe part has some vegan pastries (appear to be Split Bakehouse), but they are unlabeled, so ask if they have vegan pastries that day. There is also a small “market” with prepackaged vegan options such as chips, chia protein bowls, cookies, chocolate, etc.
There is outdoor seating, bar seating and some “step-like” seating in the back, so there is space to study/work. However, it was pretty busy when I went (on a Sunday afternoon), so know that before going if you plan to sit.
